What is the difference between display(df) and df.show() ? and why would you use one vs the other?

show() function accepts parameters on how you want to display the data, but we won't have such futures in the display() function.

As per my understanding, PySpark is python with Spark and Spark sql is SQl with Spark. Where we use basic python and sql style of coding with the Spark.

Spark SQL we use when we want to play with database operations like creating the database, views, etc. and Pyspark is the extension of Python which we use in Databricks to perform complex data transformation.
