Had both. I decided the Stout edition would be the crowd favorite. I actually prefer the IPA edition. It's quieter and more subtle but that's because I think the flavors work more seamlessly with the Jameson profile.

The Stout is so great but the cold brew is way different. It's so syrupy and overly fake sweet. It's way too much.

I have absolutely zero embarrassment about Jameson Stout Edition. It has often occupied a spot on our shelf, ousting regular Jameson from that spot. A guilty pleasure? Not sure. I occasionally sip a liqueur like Sambuca or Gran Marnier.

Both of mine are on here- the Jameson cold brew and Skrewball. And honestly they're both good enough that it's not embarrassing. Also, who the heck is embarrassed about Jameson Stout Cask?! It's a perfectly respectable whiskey!

I have not tried the Crown salted caramel, but Ole Smoky has a Salty Caramel that I love. I generally mix it with other whiskey though because it is VERY sweet.

The two Jameson pours are both on my guilty pleasure list. In fact if you take some bourbon cream and add it to the Jameson cold brew over ice, it makes a really nice drink after a hot summer day of yardwork.

I had it once and haven't really found it after but my guilty pleasure is Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition. It tastes nothing like the regular Cutty and I think they just nailed it on the toffee flavor.

Back in the day, when I didn't mind drinking liqueurs on their own (instead of as ingredients in cocktails...ot as ice cream toppers), I'd always drink them on ice or at least chilled. And pretty well always as a late night dessert sip. ❤

@@gordonbowe I’m near whiskey drinker personally. But in the off chance I go for a mixed drink you really can’t go wrong. The tartness of the cranberry balances the sweetness of the Crown and obviously cranberry juice plus apple juice (cranapple) has always been a thing lol

I’m not a rich guy, so my favorite daily drinking whisky is Evan Williams Bottled-in-Bond. Even in the insanely expensive state of New York, I can still get 1.75L (a handle) for $36, which isn’t bad. WT 101 is roughly around $46 a handle, so I like spending ten fewer dollars every week! Before anyone says it, yes, I do drink a lot.

Yukon Jack is my guilty pleasure, it's pretty much desert whiskey. My dad suggested it because he and his dads would mix it with pancake mix and make pancakes when they used to go hunting during his childhood.

I LOVE that Knob Creek smoked maple. I use it as the base for my maple old-fashioned. I agree about the lack of smokiness. I just use my whiskey smoker to add that :)

Jameson Stout! I love it! I'm a dark beer guy so I get those stout notes in there. I love it and I recommend it all the time. The IPA edition isn't good though IMO

For the Skrewball: consider mixing it with some Irish whiskey (still put it on ice). It makes it a bit less sweet, but you can still keep some of the delicious peanut butter notes.

Revel Stoke Roasted Pecan whisky has to be mine, but i do equal parts with a rye to fight the sweet. Great addition for caramels and syrups, or even pecan pie too

I would say a guilty pleasure would be Old Camp Peach Pecan Whiskey. Partly because I would most likely drink it straight from the bottle but also because the bottles I would get would be the smaller ones, 100 ml I think, because where I got them were priced cheaper equivalently to full 750 ml bottles.

My guilty pleasure is Southern Comfort. When I want something different from whisky but still whisky-ish, it's a nice change. Every time I have it though, I'm not crazy about the first glass but for me, it does get better as it goes, in that by the third I am thoroughly enjoying it. With all these flavoured whiskies now, I think if Southern Comfort had been invented last week, people would be a lot less likely to hate on it and I think many would find it a very unique and rather good variety added to the mix. Anyway, hate away, I still find it a cheap, tasty change up pitch that is perfect on certain nights.

Plantation XO 20th anniversary rum. It's by no means a bad rum, it just has a fair bit of sugar in it and is what many (myself, to some extent, included) consider a significant departure from "good" rum (looking at you foursquare fans!) and will dunk on. It tastes like gentle coconut and it's delicious!

I would call the Jameson Stout cask simply a pleasure. Nothing guilty about it. I prefer it to regular Jameson as I find it has less of a metallic finish. I am however a bit embarrassed to say I enjoy Red Stag Wild Cherry which is cherry flavoured Jim Beam

I’ll be that guy that says Salted Caramel Crown is one of my favorite drinks of all time. Normally I don’t drink it straight though I’ll take a whiskey glass fill it half way with white milk, add a scoop of chocolate ice cream to the glass then drizzle 1.5 oz of Crown Caramel over the ice cream and you then have an amazing combination of flavors with caramel and chocolate while the cold milk starts to tone down the Crown itself. Plus eating some alcoholic ice cream is part of the experience a bit.

Not going to lie that Knob Creek Smoked Maple makes a pretty good Old Fashioned. We don’t add simple syrup since it is already sweet, and if you smoke the glass it really works.

Primarily a rum drinker that is beginning to appreciate whiskey thanks to some of the drier, and more aged rums in my collection. My guilty pour has been, and always will be Jagermeister, ever since my German grandfather introduced me to it when i was a teenager.

I usually do not care for the flavored whiskey. Maybe I need to ice em. Haha Cinnamon whiskey (not fireball) gets used at out house one time a year in the fall. Is heat warmed with some cider. My wife also makes some good mules with it too during that time of the year.

You got us interested in the Screwball Whiskey, going to give that a try. The Jamie Cold Brew, ended up down the drain for us, not worth drinking. Jamie Stout, was OK. Love Jamie, love Guinness stout (the one and only), but together I could leave it. But you don't know until you try, thank goodness for 50ml bottles. Sláinte

I love coastal Scotches described as having a coastal Briney note, but there are days that whisky just isn't briney enough. My guilty pleasure is Dirty Martinis. Sometimes I don't want to explore and nose a drink. I just want an ice cold glass of briney/vermouthy/alcohol water. With like 3-5 olives on a skewer. Basically sometimes I just want a bit of vodka in my olives.

I was only able to widely find it for a couple of years before they put a one bottle limit on it but if you like hot apple cider I highly suggest winter Jack from jack Daniel’s! Iced or hot it’s perfect!

I so much agree with the choice of the Jameson Stout edition... It is a great Whiskey for the price... Not a journey but when you need something great and "smooth" lol, it is my daily go to... I would not be surprised if it would be getting up to the sales numbers of the original one... lol wink wink.

I often mix crown Royal apple with unsweetened cranberry juice. It just tastes like a jolly rancher. If I'm drinking to get drunk that's my go too.

Ive always wanted to try Chambord on pancakes, Ive only tasted it once and remember thinking it tasted like the mixed berry syrup in the syrup carousel at Village Inn.

Man, I see you guys touch on the flavored whiskeys before, but my guilty pleasure would be Bird Dog whiskey. Specifically the chocolate.

Wild Turkey American Honey (on ice). I hate how much I love it. Dessert with a buzz. (Amazing in an old fashion, no need for simple syrup, and swap orange out for lemon. Thank me later)

I buy JD Tennessee Fire around December for the holidays. I like cinnamon and I like whiskey. Mix with Dr Pepper for Xmas in a glass.

Jameson IPA Amazing! Combines two of my fav beverages superbly. Great Summer dram. Never tried it on ice but ita hella good neat. And cheap.

That jameson makes a really good whiskey sour. I use mole bitters instead of ango in mine

I've tried several flavored Crown Royal's, never had one that was good, so far the maple was particularly bad Had both the Jameson's though, they were good, will get again
