Oh WOW, i thought that was just my mom's inventos (she's Honduran) :D They also called Vicks "Mentol" like we do in Central America "Mentolina"!!! From experience, I think Central Americans (b/c of our geography and Afro/N. American mix) have a lot more in common w/our Caribbean vecinos.

Omg, the hair salon!!!! Wow! Memories of my childhood....I hated the hair salon....it would take fifty years for you to be done. Thank God I found great Dominican ladies near me that do it quick and I go during the week in the late morning! No more 6 hour stays for me!
