I pay cash for everything- no interest on credit cards. I buy used- especially my denim jeans- they are already broken in and fit better without the high price. If i don't have it to spend - i dont buy it. I purchase things i know will last. With my luggage- i put a ribbon on mine so i can identify it. I don't do drugs or drink. I make my lunch for work at home. I have absolutely no debt- except monthly bills like electricity and water. I have perfect credit and thats how i keep myself financially healthy incase of an emergency. Ive been using sunscreen my whole life.

You can get dirt cheap serums through companies like The Ordinary these days. I use a retinol serum at night but also either niacinamide or squalene serum for day as well. One tip I heard from a derm on youtube is don't buy an eye cream just use your serum as long as it doesn't say avoid eye area-which it shouldn't if you're getting basically a single ingredient serum. 1 thing I kind of don't agree with is buying designer clothing: A) everything goes on clearance even mid level designer labels, I literally just got a $570 pair of sandals for $77. Plus B) these are items you will keep a very very long time not like fast fashion crap that wears out or you end up hating & has zero resale value so just ends up in landfill creating pollution-it's the same scenario with her suitcases.

Agree 90%, nice wines, italian, french or spanish I can not give up. Not every day, but a nice glas of wine makes me relax and happy. No problem next morning by the way.😂

I hace such a bad experience renting, that I am so happy living in my proper house. Also I have 5 dogs and 8 cats, so rental is not easy.

In Australia there is a critical rental shortage. It is a wise move to own a property in Australia. So many women in their 50's are ending up homeless

Exactly you're much better off buying merchandise of high quality that will last for a very long time it's worth spending those extra dollars, then spending it on a bad bargain. I recently found your channel and enjoy your content can relate well to where you're coming from. I've been debating about relocating from Canada to the south of France. It's always held a special place in me. Life is too short to live with regrets. Have a great day and week ahead yourself.

This video just showed up on my "Recommended"s and I'm glad it did! I moved to central Mexico from the U.S. almost a year ago in my 50s. I'm still trying to sort things out; not sure I'll stay where I am (mostly because the air quality where I am isn't the greatest and I already have bad allergies). But, there have been lots of positives including a more relaxed culture and time to think/feel and decompress. I look forward to watching more of your videos! Thank you

@@FreeToBe_Me I’m curious about Cabo. Ultimately just thought SMA was a little smaller than I preferred. My first plan was Portugal so now back watching people who are there and trying to figure out what I want to do. I may end up traveling to different places for 3 months at a time to see what they are like. Only problem is I have a cat, but she did surprisingly well on the 5 day driving trip to get down here

There are a lot of products that have designer versions. Not only clothes and handbags (for instance bathroom stuff, furniture etc.) when something is marketed as 'designer', its x (5-10) times more expensive. And these products are not always prettier. That's why o make a lot of stuff myself 😊 designer but not expensive 😂

I started traveling again with my partner 1993. Started vacation rentals from 1995(no partner) traveled alone Europe until I moved to Mexico 2012-13 permanently. Then sold one property 2017 moved to Montenegro 2018-2019 permanently. My family lives in Bulgaria. They can visit and I can visit them. so far this works for me and them.. Since I will have my Permanent Residency. I am thinking about starting to rent my property in Montenegro ABNB and start to travel again within Europe and Eastern Europe.

I feel relocating ... ready to sell the house and my choice is Portugal my only fear is am English speaking i wonder how to cop in Portugal. 2nd thing i would like to take with me my 4 grandchildren 2 years 4yrs, 14 year with me. I hv us$200,000 i wonder if i can make a good living

I'm 53 and have come to the same conclusion regarding owning a house. When you couple it with "you will own nothing and be happy", homeowners are getting hammered through high taxes, rising costs and new regulations (like when my oil boiler blows this time, it's illegal to replace it with another oil one!). House is up for sale and I don't plan to buy another one, that ride is over.

Hi Daphna Interesting video and l can't agree more about every you said EXCEPT when you say "don't buy only rent "citing flexibility it gives in doing things! How? I beg to ask.. I buy and my estate agent manage it for me and l forget about it.. Leaving me to enjoy the rental income and the capital appreciation it offers Am l missing something? Did you pay the price full or by bank loan? How do you assess the future development of the area you invest in? Did you have already in mind what people you will rent at? Are big houses better than small ones? There are a lot of 3 or six apartment houses here in Germany.

That’s exactly the problem- cheap beds that fall apart while you’re paying the same amount as a hotel and cleaning the place yourself

Some women throw a fortune away during their lifetime on shoes. They own 20 pairs or even more, which they hardly use. They clog up their living spaces as well. I'm owning black shoes only, for they go with everything. Normal shoes for every day, short boots for winter and the cheapest sneakers for gardening. White sandals for summer. That's it. 4 in total.

Cheap is expensive. I see it a lot. People buy and buy. But have no money to buy the one expensive thing they really want. Than you are doing something wrong.

Yep, you pay twice. Once for the cheap stuff and then for the quality once you realize the cheap just doesnt work

Renting if throwing away your money. Buying is an investment. I can rent my home and still move around anywhere. Once I retire I will sell and buy cheaper where I desire. Obviously if your moving around traveling then I can see why you rent.

You look great. There are natural products here. I traveled to all of Europe until I found Montenegro. Great investment here. I believe investment property and traveled and rented apartments all over Europe. I owned vacation rental properties for 25 years. Samsonite is the best luggage. I moved here with 3 suitcases of clothes after leaving Mexico. I do not drink or smoke. I have excellent health. Menrally and physucally. Look 20 years younger. Ciao

@tia904 Most people speak English. Drs, stores. The Municipality offices usually do not, but they always find someone to help. People always help here. Very respectful. It is a plus for me that I did not have to learn the language. Montenegrin/Serbian is their language.
