I'm Molly, a typical sushi, makeup, and fashion loving millennial girl who just so happens to be blind! I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! Even though I can’t see, I know that there are bright spots in everything we face. Let’s find them together. 💕

Hi Molly. I think you should definitely do a gaming video. Either play the last of us part to. If not that you could maybe showcase some of the games that the blind have. Like crazy party, swamp, survive the wild, there are so many out there. Just go to audio game. Net and Peru’s the options. A heroes call is really good. And so is manamon, But I feel like you have to love Pokémon to like manamon. The storyline is great. But it would be really awesome to show people that blind people still love and still play video games.

My husband made a game for a contest that's played in darkness using sound. It needs some work to be full acceseble since the menu doesn't speak when you mouse over the options to choose the tutorial/levels. And there's a replay to watch where you went within the level which a blind person wouldn't be able to see. But the actual game of using sound to find the person you need to rescue should be accessible to a blind person. That's what he was hoping for. It's called Lights Out by Sebjugate on itch. Best played with headphones and your eyes closed.

Minecraft is also doing some great things with accessability. Not sure if it is fully accessible to blind people though but they do have some functions for blind people like a narrator. No matter what game you choose it might be interesting to give a bit of comment/review of how accessible the blind accessibility mode actually is.

For me this is so weird because in Brazil cursive is mandatory and if you don't learn it, you can't advance. When you get older it's optional, you can use whatever you like and style however you like (as long as everyone can read it), but you have to know both because cursive is so popular here!

You're never too old to do something you wanted to do. I will give you what I think is a great example. There are people who learn how to read and write in their 40s, 50s or even later, because they did not have the possibility to learn these very basic things when they were young. Everyone else learns these things as children, but that does not make it something that only children can do. It is never too late to do something you want. I am turning 27 this year and I still enjoy re-reading fairy tales or discovering new ones I might've missed as a kid.

Depends on what book if you ask me. Fifth book is really boring and way too long. And I just get so angry while reading it because Umbridge sucks and the ministry also sucks and Sirius is irresponsible and also he’s mean to Kreacher and Dumbledore doesn’t give Harry any information even though it would be real easy for him to just write a letter or forward the message through someone else. For example, SIRIUS! He’s already stuck feeling sorry for himself because he isn’t allowed to do anything. Sorry it just hurts you know😂 The movie is less stressful to watch because they make some of the anger inducing moments into comedic moments instead. Also they didn’t have time to show Sirius being a moody teenager and instead he’s just perfect lol.

Same! I love kids but I'm terrified of passing on my genetics (ocular albinism, glaucoma, hemophilia b, early onset arthritis and all sorts of blegh) and I don't think I could ever keep up with a kid with my knees... Plus as a gay man who is also disabled, I know that I wont ever be approved as a foster parent and it's highly unlikely that I'll ever be allowed to adopt. It's easier to say that I've just chosen to have parrots instead of children and that my birds aren't kid friendly, than it is to face all the physical and societal reasons that kids aren't an option for me.

I can see, and yet... I've never wanted to drive a car 'cause it terrifies me! And I for sure don't know how traffic works... When I see a stop sign, I expect drivers to stop. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. 🤷‍♀️ It seems simple enough, but I find it very confusing. I have tried skiing a few times, and I've given up because of fear 😱. I also don't play videogames and most card games, or watch sports 'cause I just don't get it. I understand the very basics, but I just can't follow.

Also, I did not start reading the Harry Potter series until I was 14. Only read the first book and did not really get into it a whole lot but I would definitely give it a try. You may end up loving it. Thank you for all the amazing content.
