Don’t bother with pallets unless it’s the aesthetic you’re interested in, especially later in the game once you get Elven and Ornamental chests. The space to storage amount vastly favors chests, particularly once you’re dealing with ornamental chests and when you consider they can be stacked on top of each other using the floor tiles as shelves. Also, Black Diamonds (BD). To avoid spoilers I’ll just call them level ‘gates’. 1st gate: 15 BD 2nd gate: 20 BD 3rd gate: 50 BD (this is as far as I’ve gotten, don’t know if there’s more) You absolutely need each ‘gate’ amount so don’t go putting down a fast travel point everywhere, but be aware there are scenarios on each level where you’ll get a large amount. And when you get to the 2nd ‘gate’, bring 2 extra with you.

Black diamonds are easy and you can take them between worlds meaning beat the first boss and go back to your game or suck it up and go lowest deeps

The rangers journals are in each major sector with a different ale and pages per region with mines pages not working in western sector for example. Resources also travel between worlds so don’t feel like you can’t make fast travel points wherever you want and either delete them later to get gear back or start a new game and beat the first boss for an easy 20 if you can’t get to the lowest deep sections yet. Buffs and runes play a decent factor in making the game more manageable too with each gold pile size giving a different but stronger buff (damage to orcs) which last decently long too and can be moved to different bases later. If your playing solo simply move your base and gold piles closer to orc camps to have the buffs active for them whilst putting the orc damage rune on your weapon/choosing the right weapon.

Thank you for the video, it helped me a lot! My suggestions after a few hours of gaming! :) - I think by now the pallets have been improved and can keep a lot more stuff. However, it is true that they still keep more space and hold less than chests. - Travel stones are important in the game but true, not at the beginning. I find it very annoying we cannot "name" the places as we wish. I usually leave specific things in specific places and I travel between them when I need something. It becomes increasingly more important to have travel stones strategically placed in certain areas where certain resources can be found (e.g. one in a forge, one in the Elven Quartiers, one nect to the first orc City with plenty of ore, etc). - Great advice the one about marking the map. After opening the map, pressing X will mark the current position of the player. I suggest always to keep all ores and points of interest (such as ranger diaries, rare gems or ingredients, etc.) updated and market, so to avoid running out of important resources. - One thing that was not mentioned was the Dark Shadow. Presented as a purple mist, it damages you and pushes you away from certain areas. Sometimes you can find interesting resources and objects in it, but otherwise, I suggest building wood panels to rise above the ground and go around it (the shadow does not affect you if you are in the air). - A final suggestion, not present in the video: always bring with you not only stones, but also granite, adamant, coal, and some iron ingot. The reason is because you will need these materials to craft a campsite hearth, repair statues for blueprints, and the iron ingot to create repair smithy, which is interesting to have next to difficult areas of the map (e.g. during a battle you can go and repair yourself up). - Creating a bed next to difficult areas can also be an idea, to avoid long travelling in case of death. Always keep in mind where you last claimed a bed or bedroll. Hope this can help :)

Great tips although I’d repair the campsite at ranger journals just to have a nice clear point of interest and the black diamonds aren’t a big deal now as you can refund built objects to get everything back if needed.

big tip best buff is ore frenzy when youre mining just be careful that your sound metree is low before you sing a mining song so you dont call a horde except if you have 4 geared peaple playing becouse then you can farm orcs in hordes for black diamonds

Ore frenzy doesn’t have anything to do with singing just collecting ore, the singing buff stops you from losing stamina while mining maybe attacking haven’t checked yet on the attack part.
