Hey bro, I know you play quite a few other games but I wanted to ask if you can make a video on tips for the MW3 update. Been having problems with my PS5, won't let me play multiplayer unless I change my On-Demand Texture Streaming to medium or small. But. Danial, how do I know that my resolution on the PS5 is scaled from 1080p to 4K and to 1080p? I definitely have more FPS with 1080p in Warzone, that's why I set it a long time ago. My 4K monitor from LG also sets itself to 1080p

When doing your Duelsense controller input/respons videos, did you use a 3.2 Gen 2 10gb USB C cable? or just the stock cable? I’m getting way better results using 3.2 gen 2 usb c cable on normal Duelsense and edge then using the stock cable.

When I play Watch Dogs 2 and Just Cause 4 on my PS5 there is significant button delay and fps drop. When I change the tv settings to “movie” instead of “game” then the FPS is fine but the button delay is there. What should I do to fix this problem whilst still on the “game” setting on my tv???

Hi! VRR on because in Warzone there's no Vsync option to be turned off, so VRR is fine to prevent tearing.

I've done all of this except using an externsl ssd, still getting some fps drops or stutters in overwatch 2 though, should I put resolution on automatic or 1080p? I have these drops since 1 year, on multiple consoles and monitors, it's driving me nuts.😢

Hi, which video? there are a few older videos where I didn't have a dev kit for USB, and the input delay was after the idle input lag, this video is the latest and greatest.

Hey Dan love all your content regarding ps5 and its controllers but I wish you made videos about 3rd party controllers which are licensed by Sony that work with ps5 like the Victrix pro bfg and Razor Wolverine V2. Hi, haven't tested Scuf but I'll look online to see if anyone tested default polling rate or input lag tests on console, it's not available where I live and by that I mean it's 2X the real price that's why I couldn't buy and test it.

Hi, no difference in 4K/1440p from my tests, only 1080p which has a bit higher controller input delay though, if you play Warzone it might be a good idea but for MW3 multiplayer check the COD section and use 4K or 1440p.

Battle beaver , scuf , dualsense are same… but edge has 1000 polling rate idk how or why. So it’s better to use dualsense , scuf and battle beaver wirelessly otherwise you will get higher input lag thats for sure based on the research i have done… And remember what I’m talking about is on PS5 am not sure how wired performs on PC.

Hi, depends on the game, but for most MP games no, they are stable, story games though can drop frames sometimes depending on the settings, and VRR can unlock more options if 120Hz is supported too. so you can get for example unlocked 40FPS in Spider-Man 2.

Hi, ALLM is not needed for monitors as they don't process pictures unlike TV, but for VRR you can either get an EDID device that can enable it or you'd need an HDMI 2.1, I also have an HDMI 2.0 Monitor that I use for FPS games and with Capture Card EDID I can enable VRR.

Doesn’t COD render at whatever the developers set it to on console? As far as I understand, setting your resolution to 1080p won’t boost frames because the resolution is already set in stone on console

Hi, I believe it is because of the increased input delay, but based on the Warzone 3 Test I recently made average FPS was higher, and I'm still unsure, that's why I recommended 4K for people who want less controller delay and 1080p for more FPS. need more tests to see how it goes.

With the Capture Card Information, when VRR is enabled you can see the frame rate. otherwise, I'd test with the Trdrop app.

@@gardensofgod7319 I'm french language but i will try... so : depending on whether it's PS5, PS4, XBOX, STEAM etc..... in the internet router settings you have NAT PORT redirections so that your connection is not moderated but open...... you will have maximum throughput for your game support.... and then you have NAT ports for each game..... example for the PS5: TCP: 80, 443, 1935, 3478-3480 UDP: 3478-3479, 49152-65535, 27015-27200..... After that when you go to the network settings of the MW3 game you will see that your connection is open and not moderated.

What's the point in getting a ps5 and changing the settings to lower picture quality? You get a ps5 to play games at the highest fidelity, surely. People have become such snobs, makes me wonder how they got by in the ps3/360 era when they were forced to play with lower frame rates.🤦‍♂️ If I'm playing my ps5 I want all the bells and whistles I got it for. I want the highest resolution the game can support, raytracing, the bare minimum,anything beyond that is a bonus.

Lol because there are people who play competitive on PS5 especially for FPS shooter games ; performance over quality.If you are playing story driven games then sure turn up the settings. Keep in mind there are people who can't afford High end gaming PC to get the best of both worlds of performance and graphics. So in the time being people will do anything to boost performance on console

Coming from a series x and switching over to PC, their is input lag on the xbox series x and to my opinion probably even more than the ps5. I seen some warzone demons on ps5 and the xbox guys are slower to react and much easier to kill. I seen guys switched from ps5 to pc and still play the same as in kills wise. They would drop occasionally 20+ kills on ps5, switches over and their is no improvements. Meanwhile, I had good xbox players go from 1.0-1.8kd to 4+ kd as soon they switched over. Same thing happened to me. I went from 1.8kd to 3.9kd. A friend of mine was accused of cheating because he gained a 5.4kd, not overnight but over with time. Both systems are great though from a price point to performance, it is the best bang for the buck. Their is nothing in this world, you can build to match or surpass a gaming system performance.
