Congratulations! It is very exciting. I was shocked, though, to hear how much money you had to pay! $28,000? that is insane! I am an American living in France now and I went through the same procedure here. It cost nothing (except 30 euro for each echography I did). Yes, taxes are a bit higher, but not by much, and certainly not as high as your costs of the procedure, or even the cost of US insurance. Hats off to you for what you had to endure. The baby is well worth it.

Did you have the ultrasound done on too of your stomach? I had an ultrasound done at 8+5 weeks and my baby just looked a little clearer so just wondering. To be clear not hating or bragging or anything. Just wondering if it’s because i had vaginal and you had on top of your stomach. Im due april 10th ☺️
