I love my 2023 yz250x I bought it at the end of last summer and it’s awesome 2 strokes are so much fun and I can lug mine so slow and it won’t stall in nasty terrain that’s a huge advantage off-road

I'd say in anything tight... that 450 is likely going to be a bit much. I've had one. Currently on a 300 now and it can def. be a hand full. I do like the way 4 strokes put down the power for sure. Love my 300 also. I think for me a tight 4 stroke would be a 250 big bore or 300. If I want off the shelf... 350. Just really depends on the type of terrain you ride.

I mostly trail ride and I made the mistake of buying a 2012 crf450r and I would get absolutely exhausted after 20 minutes and the clutch pull was super stiff. I got a good deal on a Rekluse auto clutch and that totally changed how the bike rode. I can use as little or as much power as I need and go through the technical stuff without wearing out my clutch hand. But 2 strokes are probly best for trail and enduro, 4t is great for track and big open areas.

I honestly think that both have their advantages but it comes down to personal preference. I personally love the 2 stroke but have been riding 4 strokes for years.

I don’t know why but anything a four stroke does looks like it’s in slow motion lmfao , I had a ktm 250 2 stroke now I got a 450 and , yea ones got torque and the other one has agility and speed , they are both good for different things , for steep 1000ft mountains I’m taking the 450 , trail riding I’m going 2 stroke , Racing I’d prefer a 2 stroke , other then that I’d take a 4 stroke cuz I got tired of mixing gas , but yea 2 strokes sound dope and they are stupid fast , the 450’s sound like thunder , we’ll atleast mine does

The graphics and color scheme r actually dope. I wouldn’t think of brown to put on a bike but with the white plastics it works and the graphic design is dope as well and unique. Plus 2 strokes r better lol.

As someone who owns a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke I like riding the 2 stroke more. But my wallet likes the 4 stroke more 😂
