Yes, I kept the mount itself, but the engine bracket had to come from a 92-95 H22A Black Top VTEC. Thanks for the compliment and good luck to you and your swap too!

I got mine from Ricky's Automotive. It's featured on one of my other videos. The info is on there too. If you can find one local to you, even better. That way, you can look at the motor before buying it like I did, which is why I chose to go local. Make sure to have a downpipe also before you buy an engine.

Maybe in a week. I will be doing a bit of breaking in the clutch during my road trip. I'll post vids about that too

What are you using to secure the engine to the hoist? looks a lot better that just trying to find a bolt hole.

The bracket doesn't have to be a VTEC Prelude. Any H23A1 or H22A '92-'96 Prelude.

Was there any mods u had to do or does it line up perfectly

Winston live the videos brother. I've got a 93 accord I plan on doing an engine swap on. In throttle here it says jdm h22a/h23a did you use the entire engine of just one or combine the two? The reason I ask. I've been researching and I'm trying to chose between the h22 and h23. In the research I've found someone said you could use the h22 head of the vtec and then the block of a h23 block. Said gives you th hp of the vtec and the torque from the non. Idk truths to it but wondered if you knew. Then if you just used the h23 like I sorta think you did. What made you chose it over the h22? Sorry I wrote you a book man. Thanks for your time brother. Whats going on winston. I had a question for you, ive got a 92 accord ex with the f22a6 engine. I just bought an h22a1 engine which is obd1 like my car. I bought it complete with long block, transmission and ecu and all wiring. Im a little confused about the ecu. Do I put the h22 ecu in or do I keep the f22a6 ecu and just rewire the vtec? Ive read way too many posts on this and cant find the right answer. I highly appreciate any help at all. Thanks
