She refuses to call him by his birth name and decided to change his name altogether and call him Justin instead of recognizing him as Egor because she doesn’t like nor wish to honor his Moldovan heritage name. Nikki needs to stop trying to be the victim so hard. She also lied to him and never came out in the beginning of their relationship. He was just a kid, literally still just a teenager when he met her. She, on the other hand, was in her 30s! That’s not okay! It’s traumatic what she did to him by lying about being trans. He was way too young to process all this information in a healthy way and his brain at 19 is still developing and learning. He was just a teenager trying to adjust, navigate, and figure out life but to be lied to in this way by the first woman he ever loved, that’s too much for a young 19 yr old at the time! That’s a lot to process for anyone let alone a teenager! This is not an honest or equal relationship. She’s much older than him and she groomed him. He has a lot of trauma to work through after what she did and how she lied to him for years before coming out to him. Nikki also controls him and emotionally manipulates him. It’s low key abuse. She has him under her thumb bc she pays for everything/supports him financially. This is no different than when men do this to women. She is intentionally making him dependent on her in order to exert her dominance over him. He’s under her control bc she financially provides for him and that’s the power she holds over him. This level of manipulation is so wrong and needs to be exposed. The power dynamics are one sided and abusive. He’s being manipulated and pressured into continuing this relationship. It’s like he’s an emotional and financial hostage of her needs and her wants. This is not an equal partnership. One is controlling the other through money and finances. First of all, initially it was a relationship between an older woman and a teenager. Igor probably had to explain a lot to him parents and friends why he, a young and nice looking guy got involved with 30-something woman. Then Nikki keeps relationship going, lures him to come to the US, and oops, Igor is told that his older woman in addition to everything is a trans too! He left right away. Who knows, maybe now, 15 years later, he is still not married with children because he was so traumatized by Nikki back then!
