@@sevenhunt3787 Not saying Asuelu was right for cheating, but THIS. Kalani was embarrassed of him in the Airport the firt time she picked him up and never bothered to hide it. Asuelu was sad and homesick, yet there are sooo many moments where she openly made fun of him in front of others and strangers (for things as simple as ordering avocado toast in a restaurant amd then nagging him about it. At the end Kalani did many things for Asuelu and that's fine, but it surprises me to see how many devide to ignore all those times she ridiculed him and annoyed him on purpose while she was smiling. Boy slowly started to lose his smile

Asuelu really went from "condoms are for sl*t people" to cheating multiple times. That's crazy. Polynesian culture can be very patriarchal and there can be lots of issues with men abusing alcohol, mistreating women, etc., even Kalani's dad tried to warn her about that. It's really sad to see this same pattern playing out in real time when there are children involved

That would’ve been the very last straw for me. 99.9% of times, cheaters don’t stop at just once. I swear some people go through so much just for the sake of “keeping the family together” that they don’t realize that having two unhappy parents does a lot more harm to their children than a divorce would, especially so when said children now get to grow up to have the whole world know about their family drama. Let the child go free and consider it a weight off your shoulders. When he’s older and has had a chance to mature, he’ll regret his actions big time, but you’ll already have moved on with someone who actually loves you and who can actually be a responsible parent.

I meant to say that too. Kids are much better off with a single parent than with two especially if they fight and argue or are just unhappy together. My son asked me why I waited until he was 19 to divorce his Dad. He said I should've left before he was two. I told him I wanted him to have a father and mother while he was growing up. Turns out kids really do sense things and pay more attention to the fighting, so much so that it really worries them and they stress out about it.

I think its very difficult for him because of the language barrier that scene where kalanis father questioned him about being rude to his wife and daughter he explained it that his somoan culture of women is different from the american women culture imagine how difficult to translate from his language to english and obviously no wonder he shutsdown because he dont want to argue and answer anything because they will take it wrong,ive never been to somoa or heard of but i can guarantee from what Kalani and his mother sister said he worked he was in his element in his own environment he is and was a man provider but now in america its a different world
