I am very impressed by your skills. Atm i try to make a normal freed screw and i fail because i want to print it out with 2 mm thickness. Is there a way that you can construct a convery belt maybe 1m long and 10mm wide with an nema motor and 3printed parts? Or do you have tutorial for a screwfeed with helix thickness which is 3D printable? I want to make something for my child that it learns how something like this works and get in touch very early.

have you made already something ? Or can you make a tutorial how to animate a conveyor belt process with collision? Maybe some glasses on a bigger converyor belt which turns into a smaller conveyor belt? I would love to simulate my ideas. I overthink to make it in blender, but i would love to do it with solidworks. In our company we have 2018 version. But i have no idea if solidworks is made for this kind of simulation with collision and physics to simulate a whole conveyor street to simulate a process how something is produced.

in solidworks: A conveyor can be simulated by mainly two ways- 1. Design the whole conveyor with belt or roller but move the objects on a sketched path using path mate and path mate motor (this is the simplest method just for visual appearence and animation but no physics,it also requires less calculation time) 2. Using the Rollers; Here the 3D contacts between the objects and Roller can be simulated with gravity and Motor attached to the roller. this will take care all the physics. Note: Belt conveyor can't be simulated in solidworks. Because, belt is elastic.

Waow - thank you so much for this professional anwser! Do you maybe know a software where i can plan and simulate a production line with? I looked at PLC simulation, but they are often more focused on coding than on simulation. It looks that you work in this area. Do you maybe have experience with it?

as far as i know right now: 1. FlexSim www.flexsim.com/factory-simulation/ 2. www.simsol.co.uk/products/plant-simulation/ 3. www.createasoft.com/business-simulation-software 4. Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and many more can be used.

how do you calc the radius of roller conveyors?, do you have any book or something that can help me to desing the curves and the rollers of the curves?

Inner Radius atleast 2x width of package. Outer radius = inner radius + hypotenuse of ((1/2width x length)+10%) works for me. Width is the side tangent to the radius arc, length is the side perpendicular to radius arc

it can be hit and trial or Depend on weight & size of the object to be moved on the conveyor. *tapering angle should be such that the object will move closer to the inner periphery frame of the conveyor.

Instead if drawing each individual plane just do the first one with the degrees equally divisible by 90deg and pattern the features

yes, that can be done. But if you will have to use this assembly as a Subassembly (as this project was used in Subassembly for a U shaped conveyor) then you need perfect mates for each rollers. Otherwise the The Patterned rollers will fall down when gravity is made ON.

it's a plane parallel to the Front plane and coincident to a Point of the sketch.

Sir i think practically this design will not work. Because of belt missallignment. caused due to angle between to roller shafts. Please explain.
