Anyone claiming to be welders in the comment section, talking crap about how this is a shit weld, are clearly lying about being welders. This is a spot weld. It just holds the pieces in place before the full weld is done. Sometimes called tacking. Im not a welder. My knowledge of welding comes from my engineering and metalwork classes from school 15 years ago, yet i still know this. Why yall always gotta be lying the the chat just to be negative.

Because he is showing incorrect techniques, and clearly knows nothing about fabrication. If you try this technique on schedule 80 box section, you are going to struggle to bend the piece down without heating or notching it. Which is more work, you are also having to make a square cut and a 45 degree cut. You only have to make one 22.5 degree cut and weld them together then you are done. You admitted you know nothing about welding and fabrication, so why are you saying this is a good way of doing this. And no I'm not a welder, welders just weld, the clue is in the name. I'm a fabricator/welder more precisely a pipefitter/welder. We do exist you know, the way your comment says " anyone claiming to be a welder" like we would be lying about something as mundane as this. So how about you keep your opinions to yourself. And save your comments for things you have knowledge on, or whatever the hell you do for a living. And btw a spot weld and a tack are two different things. A spot weld is what they use to join sheet metal together without using filler wire.

If they are both the same profile just find the angle you want... Take that number and subtract from 180°. Then divide that number by two.

Мне кажется многие тут не понимают в чем прикол, тут показывается как правильно поступить при той или иной ситуации, сварка тут делается на отвались потому что нэто всего лишь надо чтобы закрепить и показать людям следующий ход действий, при желании можно и самому заворить как душе угодно а тут это делается кратко для видео, это скорее учебный материал а не рабочий
