I showed this to my 12 yr old daughter bc she hates her freckles. I've told her they are beautiful and makeup artists often draw them on bc lots of ppl want freckles. 💜

I was born in 1980. I was a teenager in the 90s. And I remember everything was more Nirvana, Aerosmith, Metallica, Guns'n'Roses. Red Hot Chilli Peppers... I think Spice Girls and Britney was more for the little kids in the 90s :)

Yes Liz we also had Alice in Chains, Tool, Pearl Jam and many metal bands. lol Aerosmith started their music career in the 70's. I was too young to see them then but saw them in the 90's. Two of the members lived the next town over from our home. My sister and I would ride our bikes to the I house and try to sneak into their parties. It never worked. They sent us away cuz we were adolescents..Lol

Oh yeah! And I'd go one step further and buy the glitter gel that had like chunks of glitter in it! Still have a spot in my old room with glitter stuck to the carpet when I dropped the jar of glitter gel on it!

Born in '87. In the 90's I was wearing either big Soda (platform) shoes, anyone remember those?!! With baby doll skirts (Clueless), baby blue sparkle eyeshadow & lipgloss. Or the other extreme, belly button otops, baggy jeans, black eyeliner, brown lip, chokers, moon rings & Sailor Moon hair style lol. I love the 90's!!! Team BSB all the way! 🙌🏼😋

I was born in '92 so I was watching Nickelodeon and Disney channel. So many great shows! All that, Taina, Amanda show, angry beavers, wild thornberrys, rugrats, Lizzie McGuire, ect. I could still probably watch all those shows and the Disney channel movies too like Zenon, Brink!, Motocrossed, ect. I was totally into Spice girls, especially Victoria or Posh spice! And loved the backstreet boys! Especially Nick! Hated N'Sync because they were the rival band but after a few years I let go of my bias and gave them a chance and accepted that they had good music too lol I was also obsessed with Britney Spears. Xo loved the tut and reminiscing about the 90s!

I enjoyed the heck out of this video!! lol. I wasn't old enough in the 90s (born 91) to really have a style but I always wore those "jelly" sandals that gave you blisters every time you wore them and always had a Dr. Pepper flavored Lip Smackers in my pocket haha

I went from age 9 to 19 during the 90s. Dazed and Confused, Dookie (the Green Day variety!), Doc Martens and dark lipstick. I was so Spice Girls obsessed, my friends and I did a Spice Girls dance routine at an assembly (I was Scary Spice!).

Obsessed with this look, I was a teen in the late nighties in London and remember we all wore rimmel heather shimmer and coffee shimmer non-stop and I was loved take that, oasis, blur and the spice girls. Good times😀😜

Love the look! I was born in '91. I always had musical inclinations (and, well, am a musician now :)) ) and was very much into music, especially since I had an older sister (+11years). I grew with a different palette of sounds, from Beethoven to Queen and Michael Jackson... I do remember MTV and a lot of the videos, from when I was 3 years old and later. I loved Bon Jovi :)) and MJ, and later Backstreet Boys heheh... and Spice Girls... my folks tell me that when I was around 3, my sister, before going to school, was telling me to watch the top 40 hits or something and tell her the result :))) (one night - in recent times - I couldn't sleep so I just got into this random activity of writing down on my phone all of the songs / videos from my childhood in the '90s that I can remember... but not like ''oh I see this song now and I kinda remember it from back then'', but what I legit remember seeing in my childhood. I arrived at around 50 songs :)))) )

I spent 90's with light grey and a wine colour (and of course not blended) in my eyes and sure, brown lips. I was born in 77 so 90's is when I started using make up. But hey, I felt so pretty jajajaja.

Loved this look! 90s for me was college, Spain for a year and a half, marriage and baby girl. I wasn't into either of those bands, but I did have Ricky Martin fever for a minute (as did my 3 y/o).

I was a kid in the 90's. I remember playing with the digital babies (nano babies, Tamagochi) I'm from Portland so grunge was everywhere. Loved listening to Alanis Morissette, but I was and still am team Backstreet Boys, Kevin Richardson was my man. I love how easy this look is but also beautiful. 💙💙

I was a teenager in the 90s so brown lipstick was a MUST for me. I don't remember the shade name but I always purchased the Revlon Color Stay lipsticks because they lasted forever. I was Team Nirvana in the 90s, no Spice Girls or anything like that for me lol

Melissa, bsb and nsync were early 2000s. Spice girls were late 90s. Like 98 at the earliest. The 90s was all about grunge. If any battle of the boy bands were around, it was blur vs oasis! I remember no doubt was big and Gwen stefani wore a bindhi over her third eye. I had already started gluing rhinestones to my face (one or two on the outer corner lower lash line. Or one near the tear duct. Or 3-5 on the cheekbone where we'd put a highlighter now.). I remember getting a huge zit in the middle of my forehead and gluing a giant rhinestone on there to hide it. Lol. I thought I was so smart! 90s makeup was all about grunge and that perfectly imperfect look. Applying mascara in a seesaw motion to get your lashes extra clumpy. Applying one eye shadow with your finger tips. Putting lipstick on and then blotting it for a stain or at least to get the shine-iNess to wear down.

A tip to help limit the transfer of mascara onto your lower lash line is: once you've finished coating your bottom lashes with mascara and let them dry, grab an eyeshadow brush and dip it into translucent setting powder and gently pat your lower lashes with it. Concentrate most of the product on the tip of the lashes vs the base as that's where the transfer comes from. Hope it helps!

I was born in 82 and in the 90s we barely did eyebrows although my mom taught me to use eyeliner lightly sometimes.. we'd slap on foundation but there was no contour or highlight MAYBE blush but HIGHLY doubtful hahaha none of us knew to blend or how to use transition shades so it was either white or some color on the lid or almost up to the brow.. eyeliner was the waterline and a wing drawn with eyeliner pencil and of course the 90s brown lip

Here here! Same year as well. So tired of the extra makeup they apply these days. Makeup artists for celebrities were the ONLY people who contoured and highlighted back then. I remember I knew a little bit was it was but I definitely didn't know how to do it or when to use it.
