90-Year-Old Veteran Returns Home After Normandy Adventure

Күн бұрынBernard Jordan has returned to his Sussex nursing home after secretly making his way to Normandy to take part in the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
A missing persons investigation was sparked on Thursday, after the veteran walked out of his home without telling anyone where he was going.
12 hours later, a younger veteran called to say he had met the pensioner on his way to the commemorations.

I just recently went to see The Great Escaper at cinema, it’s nice to see something like this get a great adaptation especially with great talents of both Micheal Caine and Glenda Jackson. 😊 Also heard another film has come out based on the exact same story has come out with Pierce Brosnan. But I doubt it will do as good as Micheal Caines performance 😂
