currently also looking at an apartment near D1, i'm seeing prices have gone up since I was there two years ago hah. I was paying in 20mil in D2 for a 3 bedroom.

Hi, just came across your video. It is a year old clips but I have a suggestion since you’re a KZfaqr and I am a viewer. When making a tour or video adventures viewers really don’t want to see the face of KZfaqr unless you sit and talks and wrap up the end of the video. Hope you’ll be success in what you’re doing. :)

I live in a fairly large U.S. city (about 575,000 population) and rents here for similar apartments are about the same, actually. Saving money by relocating has become a bit of a myth. Sure, one can find cheaper apartments outside the U.S., but the trade-off is often livability. btw, that $900/month place was a great example of forced design, ala, "Let's put a wall here and call it a second bedroom."

the thing is though I would rather live in Vietnam in a 900$ 2 bedroom that is located in Vietnams largest city than for example maybe living in a small town in utah for 900$ for a 2 bedroom! Yeah this apartment was only okay. The one I live in is actually much better there a video on that!

That’s the problem never go thru a realtor…..expat myself lived here 10 years…..live a moderate hotel,,,,,360 month……believe me you have to look…..my Vietnamese wife showed me….

Bro, you can get a luxury hotel for $40 bucks a night including room service, pool, sauna, internet and steamroom. That's still only about $1200 a month...way cheaper than getting this full furnace condo for $2400 a month. That's a rip off lol

@@TonyOi I feel that when you're a foreigner and you don't know the true price. They always try to up the value on you lol. How long have you been staying in Saigon? I'm here for a month already and I feel it's way too fast. I want to stay long but gotta take care of some business back home. Definitely coming back in December or maybe even sooner. Cc are fine but cash is more used in vietnam. Any gold shops in d1 give you really good rates much better than banks!

If you can afford 2400 usd rent …..( why even stay in Vietnam????) I would move to Texas , you can have a gaint house with like 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms , backyard,front yard,garage , and the best part ( it will be your house in the end ) so not wasting your money in rent. Texas is better than Vietnam anyways air is clean, not polluted, no traffic, not overpopulated. If you get a mortgage you will keep your money, can sell the house later

Not my house hahah . I could afford that house if I wanted to but I’m pretty frugal and rather have more bang for my buck. Hahah I mean dude I can move to the boonies in Canada and get a house to rent for 1k usd or buy a cheap af house but that’s not my goal and might not be the goal of many people. I mean I’d live in Houston and Dallas but not sure if I live else where there! I like busy cities rather than country side places!

Hey mate! Yeah I’ve been told I made adjustments for my other videos this was when I was kinda just starting. Wasn’t a fan of this apartment! If u check my other video called “can u live in Vietnam for under 1000$” I do an apartment tour of my apartment!
