@@pastorfw after talking with Fanatics btw for software, a box like this costs them $15-$50 depending on the card stock. (Topps and Panini use the same printers anyway. It’s easy to get a card that is Topps on the front and Panini on the back). But surprisingly NBA hoops costs them $8 per box. I believe $6 is for shipping. For most cards it costs them 0.00035 per card to make. And the cards are designed using Photoshop. I mean a monkey can use photoshop. Well maybe a college educated monkey. The rest of the box isn’t the cards, it’s paying the employees. Which is sad. If only you could get free employees somehow….

Panini, the company that is already in the red, and prints sick sick MLB products with only retired players and Little League cards, would go out of business? I thought the National Treasures for $10k football box would have tilted some. Then again the “I wish I could get my redemptions” people would have stopped buying like 3 years into waiting.

I enjoy these autos. They are great. I can put my picture on there and remove the sticker and make my own on-card sig! It would be like opening a $10k box of National Treasures, starring me! And if they ever use a blue pen, most smart athletes don’t sign anything with a blue pen. It’s the pen you use to steal someone’s signature and then use it to…. Um…. Not open a bank account in their name. (Widely known fact in the world of people who spend so much time on the dark web I believe I can throw small HD’s at people to pay for everything with bitcoin)

I bought a blaster from Walmart a couple days ago and hit better stuff. Panini does not care. They know their product will be bought off the mentality from 3 yrs ago and it’s still going. $900 a box and zero guarantee of an auto of the top rookie is rediculous. If only we could not buy Prizm or any of their products for a week or two would show them we aren’t putting up with it. Hopefully Fanatics will do better. Thanks for sharing!!

Just curious, what do you do with the lower value base set cards? I just started my adventure with a mega box and have been having a great time with my son filling a binder. Do you know if there is a secondary market for the less valuable cards in bulk? Spending $100 a box is going to add up quick lol. Grats on the autos you did get, we are still on the hunt!

I never get cards worth more than 100 bucks non grades. But I have an stack of dozens of cards worth between 15 and 75 bucks.. Its awesome opening them. Thanks for the videos. Top prospects don’t have signature agreements at the moment for Panini. Plus the 1 of 1 Black Wemby was already pulled in Asia. Either Prizim needs to lower to $120 or add better odds to pull inserts.

I’m so glad I can live vicariously thru your videos and save so much money, I haven’t fallen prey to that crap in years, the last hobby box I bought was in 2017 Tatum rookie year and I was done after that. Panini should have a class action lawsuit opened up against them and everyone who bought into this crap should get their money back end of story.

@OR are you missing the point of the channel? what we are doing? What company do I support? Panini and Fanatics have already sold the product to the distributors. I am not buying directly from them. Also, when I open the product, I don't just post the good videos; I post it all and tell my true feelings about the product. Which is why you never seen panini sending this channel SHIT!

If you stop buying it, so will the distributors, and so on. Only way to affect change. Never did I say you were not honest about your take... but if you and the other "influencers" want to stop getting "panini'd"... stop supporting them.

Topps is no better. Watched someone RIP Definitive Baseball. Things have run their course. Dutch Tulip Mania. We're all happy Koufax and Tony Oliva, and even Pete Rose got a decent payday signing cards, and Chamberlain and Walton and Montana and Rice but c'mon this is insanity. WHORES. The problem is basic economics: supply & demand. People will keep buying them so sellers can keep charging outrageous amounts. If we refused to pay these prices, they would have no choice but to lower the prices. Breakers will never stop buying them tho & they’re probably 95% of the problem

Prizm hobby anything is already tough but the basketball this year seems extra brutal with less signers and missing autos. I feel like opening 10 (or 30) blasters is a way better value than one hobby. With 30 blasters you get 90 ice, 60 green and 30 silver plus 7-10 numbered, red, blue or green pulsar. And you'll get two autos too on average. I guess the question is... Is it better to get 2 autos that are worth $10 total or get no autos and an extra parallel instead? Because either way it's pretty bad.

I feel like this has been the case with Prizm for at least the past few years. The checklist is at least twice as big as it should be and a vast majority of the Rookies will be out of the league or in the G League in a few years. This set should be 200 cards max, but when you print it to the moon then you have to expand the checklist. Huge checklist means tiny chance to a good card of a good player. I won't even get started on how awful the Auto checklist seems to be every year.

This is why i dont open panini hobby boxes. I have a few unopened boxes of football and basketball. I will buy a few blasters when available. I think picking up a box from time to time for an investment isn't a bad idea, though. Just can't bring myself to open them at these prices

I’ve slowly been curing my wax addiction but gave in to some lowly retail tonight… had three of these blasters in my hands but remembered the endless pain I’ve had with them over the last few years… ended up buying 8 2024 Topps S1 Hangers (close to the same price)… got 5 numbered cards, 4 Elly’s, 3 Evan Carter’s, and a Luciano Yellow… I’m not even a huge fan of Topps but it’s crazy how much better they are than Panini. These guys are crooks for no reason.

Bought 8 blasters, probably half the money of one... Got 2 Wemby inserts, no base. 3 Spurs Silver, but weren't Wemby. Silver and Green Brandon Miller and Silver Deep Space Amen Insert. It sucked, but this seemed even worse

There is only 1 One Piece card that anyone on earth wants right now, and that is Luffy turning Gear 5. What everyone should buy is Solo Leveling cards. You can find them, they aren’t special, like all blue. But only 7.5 episodes in. Also all Panini products should cost $6 each. It costs them about $1 to make each box, and they spend $0 on quality control.

I haven’t seen a good box on KZfaq or Whatnot… the blaster boxes seem to be more profitable bc I z have seen multiple Wendy base out of single boxes… I will say the same thing I have said on other videos… thanks for saving me $900
