I pulled a Ripken refractor as a kid. My local card dealer ripped me off saying it was only worth a few dollars. So I traded it for a stack of 87 donruss and Fleer Mattinglys. Also, your stories are pretty damn cool ! Keep it up !

I find it interesting when you tell short stories of when you were in the majors while you open packs. You are undoubtedly losing lots of money for our viewing enjoyment - and I thank you for that. PS - you're also a hockey fan (albeit TBay), which makes you OK in most Canadian's books.

90s cards are getting hotter. Too think these are now considered "vintage" to us. inserts, premium sets, and RC's from the 90's and early 2k's are exploding in price.

That was a cool break even if it was without a huge name! I cannot really afford to join, but I won't harass or shame you for going that direction! I think fans of what you're doing should be excited to see the channel has hit that next step in its growth!

I had a friend who would hit the Books a Million in the old mall. He would go in with a couple of BaM bags in his pocket, fill them up with card boxes and walk out. He took most of it to Wal-Mart and get the money for them, but he would always keep the Topps Finest. Wonder if he still has them?

I remember when Bret Saberhagen set that record, cool that you broke it! Couple random thoughts a) I like the 93 on the players jersey on the box signifying the year b) all the A’s it looked like were wearing yellow jerseys, which is interesting because they didn’t wear throwbacks / alternates that often back then c) what do you do with the actual boxes when you are done? I tend to keep them as a souvenir of getting to open a box, which when I was a kid was a huge deal. Thanks for the great break!

I remember walking into the store after these came out and they were $6.00 a pack. I chose to buy NBA Finest instead at some convincing of my parents that $6.00/pack wasnt crazy. I used to have a 1993 Finest refractor Hakeem Olajuwon but idk where it went. I think my friend mustve stolen it.

You should rip 2001 Fleer Greats of the Game which was done beautifully. They made one for each sport Baseball, Basketball, Football & Hockey. So maybe try to find one for each sport. It was a very fun product to rip, especially Basketball which produced 2 autos and 1 mem per box. That would be sweet if you can find some to rip on the channel!

That Juan Gone topper is cool. I missed getting my one and only baseball from him, he hit a BP HR and i lost in the sun... goddamn thing hit right on top of my head! Ball bounced off and rolled down and fell between the stands and wall... Tried to get Canseco's attention to maybe get another ball... he cussed at me calling a "fucking lying piece of shit." 🤣🤣🤣🤣 My dad was so freaked out that i might have had a concussion... Rangers didn't care at all hahaha

Topps Finest just takes me back to when I got serious about collecting cards. I think they were some of the coolest cards ever made and still stand out against most products today ! Also, Just joined PHIL'S ARMY !!!! Keeping boxes busted💥😝
