Bloody hell that has got to be the most epic fishing footage I have ever seen. Heart in mouth stuff from hook up to release. Big effort from the two anglers and everyone else on board. A moment to remember for life.

I'm 40 and live in California and I can say hands down best saltwater show ever. Good mix of action education and lots of good tag and releases. Keep up the good work skip.

Awesome catch! Good to see it was released too. Way better than killing it just to weigh it and get a photo. Seeing the pure excitement and joy from the crew when the fish swam away when released to fight another day is what big game fishing is all about.

OMG! Same thing happened to us 3 months ago in Curacao, on a LP with 200lbs. We couldn’t catch it, and broke (on purpose) the line after about 10 hours! Ours was also a beast, we filmed it couple of times, but I think yours was bigger by 200lbs. These animals are monsters of the deep!!
