Nice haul! Makes me want to hit up the huge consignment shop nearby. The thrift shops around here are lousy, but I often find pieces that suit the darkly inclined at this consignment shop, even though my area has a terrible dearth of alternative people.

I remember shopping back in the day at thrift stores. Salvation army and Goodwill were not even popular for that as they were popular with the elderly and had the clothes they were interested in and were where you went last. There were actually thrift stores that specialized in alternative shoppers back then, Somebody Else's Closet was one such place. They had some new stuff also that was mostly vintage recreations that were of things either too rare or literally museum pieces, that and all the cheap imitation pewter jewelry and spikes galour. Speaking of the jewelry back in the day does anyone remember when you didn't get pierced in a tattoo parlor? You got an ice cube and placed it one side and burned a needle to sterilize it and had a friend do it. Surprisingly that actually led to fewer infections and problems than the alternative, the dreaded plastic gun they used in the jewelry stores.

The red velvet is luscious and fits like a dream. Id have gotten the purple velvet skirt, too, because the color was so rich. The Kreepsville dress is adorable on you, but combined with the hair does make you look at least 10 years younger. That is a super cool thrift store, but I would have HAD to buy the organ. And have taken it home and put a fringed scarf and candelabra on it. 😍

The timing of this video was perfect! I just went thrifting yesterday (same day you put up this video) and not only that, but the one I went to had blue as the color of the day. I'm always so amazed how people find soem amazing and cheap thins at goodwill, got to two close by me and all the tshirts are always $5. and blouse around like $6-$12. And its SO rare to find brand items. Ibouht that kreepsville dress for like $30. What an amazing find. I actually didn't think it was my style either until i tried it on and it looked SO nice on. Its definitely my favorite thing you got! I think it looks AMAZING on you!
