I guess I'm in my own lane because when I saw the outside I thought wow, how beautiful but once we see the inside, I personally felt all the white made it feel sterile. I would have thought because it's in Muskoka (cottage country) that the interior design would reflect a more natural, warm aesthetic. I expected more wood finishes. That's just me. Seems like everyone else thinks it's a dream home.

Very beautiful, what's not to like about it. All the privacy in the world in your own paradise. I can only imagine the freezing cold in the winter time.....but would you care about that in a house like that? Don't think so.

Truly stunning house, no question about it, but I’m sad that the ceiling timbers were all painted. Part of the Muskoka FEEL is wood in the interior and the great room cross timbers and the dining room coffered ceilings seem to be missed opportunities to bring in that natural wood feel. I’m not looking for wood everything (that old seventies style needs to stay back then!) but not having any wood inside the home seems an odd choice to me. Other than that, chef’s kiss.

Lovely indeed. Odd there is no covered parking. I guess if you have $11M for a summer home you could find a place on the three acres to add winter amenities and a plow contract for the road 😂

Beautiful, but just too isolated for me. Lake house is cool, but if I'm going remote, I'm doing mountains, and even then, only for a few days, then I'm back to the city, to the people. Could be a cool retreat for a weekend, it actually gives off horror movie vibes to me. So I'd be down for that. To each their own, but even if I could stay here for free for the rest of my life, I wouldn't.

It’s a cottage. Boat garage is what it needs. Most people just stay there during summer time. So garage isn’t a must.

14.2m --- estimated, unsure on the amount of land you obtain with this. Land is going for 12m per 10 acres according to Zillow. Time to ping Elon for some insider trade info. After all the house is in Canada, which eh, friggin cold ass winters. But I will say this, Personal Property Tax? Typically, property tax rates range from 0.5% to 2.5%. The size of your property, what you paid for it, and your income play no role in how much you will pay in property taxes.

I’ve been going to muskoka for over 65 years. This is not what muskoka is about. That’s just a very expensive house on lake. All it displays is extreme opulence. Total ignorance for what muskoka is all about.
