Cool, I road in one up until I was 13 and dad sold it 😤😭🤬. It had a 283 bored to 301. A popular build in the day. George Montgomery built the bottom end and it was an 8000 rpm engine would go low 9s at near 140. It was a lot of fun. Only motorcycles were even fun to race but it didn’t work for them either. This bucket looks good. I think many end up gaudy looking by a couple little details and especially a double windshield.... hate that look personally.

That's great car with plenty of power but I can't imagine handling that car I cannot imagine holding the foot to the floor burning rubber for a couple hundred feet and going 140 mph in that car no way

Death trap. Got an actual, real Bucket T with drag race history from 1950. Owned and raced it since 1970. Lengthen frame, shorten frame, big engine go fast, small block cruising, no matter what it is the real deal and is a handful on the street and a fist full on the track. Damn near died twice in it before building a rational top alcohol dragster. I don’t want to sell the “T” because somebody would kill themselves in it. I’ll probably chop it up.

color was custom mix...customer it was built for drove it everywhere and loved it --- according to him - it was no less safe than his motorcycles.

@@tallantshotrodshop320 Well, ok. He feels as safe as riding his motorcycle. No hat. No seatbelt. I rode a 750 for years until too many close calls changed my mind. A t-bone, a rear-ender and this guy is toast. I wish him well. You gotta live your own life. If he has a family I hope his life ins. policy is paid up.
