Ok so imma be honest.. After I caught my first kala fishing on valentines in my other video.... I been hooked! I decided to take the eBikes and the kids and try some new spots around the neighborhood aka Makaha aka MakTown... Ended up trying Mount Lahi and got couple good strikes! After that though.. nothin.. dead... I fished for hours and caught nothin, nadda, zip.... I told myself imma try again first thing in the morning and thats what I did.. After being at the same spot for less then an hour.. I Hooked up! It was in intense fight! The whole time I was worried the fish would come off! That kala fought hard.. THEN... Like an amateur.. I grabbed the line and tried to lift the fish which snapped the hook.. From there I jumped on it as the wave tried to pull it back into the water.. I got my hands on it and threw it on the reef.. Boom... Caught my biggest Kala! Suuuuuuper stoked.. That was so much fun.. The fact that I lost two good strikes the day before and the fact that I fished all day and caught nothing.. made this catch even more killa 🔥 But anyways.... Hope you guys enjoyed this episode...
