I really don't think most people buy an iPhone for what it can do. Almost everyone I know and people I see out and about at the grocery store or wherever have a pro max version of the iPhone. They get them because they are simply the latest and greatest. Most don't even know what Pro Motion is not could they care. It's a status thing or even simply, want the big screen. I think the iPhone 14 with a non pro max version will be a huge hit!

I really appreciate you showing the photos of your dog. My dog has mostly black fur so it can be difficult to take good photos of her on my current phone. It's good to see examples of what I can expect from this model.

I have an iPhone 12 and I think I'll stick with it for at least another year. The 13 Pro is amazing but so is the 12 even a year later. Plus the trade in/resale value of iPhones really hold up over time.

only reason I got the 13 pro was because my trade in made it only 200 and brought my bill down $30. I am absolutely in love with it though, I came from the 11 which was still a great phone but the updates they've done make my 11 feel kinda meh to me now, that 120 refresh really stands out to me. going from 12 I couldn't justify it though.

I updated from an iPhone 7 Plus to the iPhone 13 pro max. I had a pretty bulky case on my old phone, and a slimmer case on my new phone. I honestly can’t really tell by holding the phone that it is much bigger in my hand. But the improvements are pretty amazing! Glad I spent the extra cash for the pro max!

I can't imagine what it is like to have an iPhone that luxurious, I'm still rocking the 6S and I'm still blown away by the camera quality the 6S provides.

I‘m with you on the notch - I literally don‘t care mostly - I just wish they‘d finally bring back the battery percentage now that the notch isn‘t as wide as before … unpopular opinion I know 😅

Went to the 13 Pro from the 12 Pro Max. I love the minor upgrades but I confess this switch was more out of comfort. Carrying the 12 Pro Max for a year was like carrying a brick but at the time I wanted the better cameras. Since the only difference this year is size and battery life I was happy to go back to a compact size for daily use. My iPad gets used while I’m at home so I don’t miss the big screen of the 12 Pro Max.

I like the Sierra Blue color, I may have gone for the graphite if it were darker, I liked the Space Gray on the iPhone XS, I really loved the Jet Black color that was offered with the iPhone 7, I wish I had kept that, because there's no more record on Apple's website that shows it, the comparison page only shows the matte black.

Imagine how I am smiling I went from an 8Pus to 13 Pro Max. I’m taking tutorials to learn all of the “tips” and functions. I only got my Gold iPhone12pro Max in August & absolutely love the phone. It’s definitely better than the iPhoneXS Max by far. I had noticed a massive improvement. I don’t plan on upgrading until the iPhone14 of 15.

Cinematic mode looks like something I'd never use. Like the added features to the camera though. In my experience iphones have the most solid cameras. I'd buy this phone just for that.

Yo the old people were right we have camera phones, not phones with a camera.

I upgraded to this phone from the xr so i could get the MUCH better screen, more storage, and better camera and battery and I am very satisfied. The screen is sharp, vibrant, and very very smooth. The 128gb is enough for me, the camera(s) are amazing, even if that means the big camera bump, and the battery is even better than my xr was new. Best part about this? I got this phone for only $200 because verizon gives you $800 if you trade in an xr. So yeah I'd say this $200 phone is pretty good

“I’ve never cracked a display while I was using the phone…” SAY WHAT?! I’ve literally never met someone who could make this claim. That’s impressive. I haven’t cracked a display in years thanks to the improvements made to the glass, but back in the day I ended up replacing the screen of every phone I owned at LEAST once!

I upgraded to the 13 pro from the 11 and it’s definitely worth it. The camera is spectacular and the battery lasts forever. I can use my phone all day without having to change it. It also feels so much faster than the 11. If you don’t really care about stuff like that and just need a decent iPhone then get the XR or the 11 but I’m glad I got the 13 pro.

As some one who has avoided upgrading since iPhone 8- yeah, it was worth it. I didn't have that much of an enthusiastic reaction, but definitely worth it. It's at least- different. Feels different. Nothing has really felt 'different' since iPhone 6. And I guess 12 was truly the break in the old pattern, but 13 just feels truly new. The minimalist look that killed the skeuomorphic one has not felt normal to me until now; feels like it finally, truly belongs. Plus the speed, holy crap the speed. Not to mention it was a relatively easy choice to make when the discount on a 12 was only $100, but I guess that's exactly how they wanted me to feel. Just have to get over the awkwardness of getting used to the gestures for edge-to-edge.

Went from 12 Pro Max to the 13 Pro Max. Worth the update for the ProMotion display alone..

Re battery and screen brightness. After an afternoon of taking 58 photos mostly outdoors in bright sun, I found: 1. the battery was significantly drained, about the same as I experienced with my 12 Pro Max; and, 2. the screen became rather dark quickly, about the same as it did with my 12 Pro Max. In short, not impressed with those "improvements," but overall, I'm glad I upgraded from the 12 Pro Max after upgrading that from the 11 Pro, because of all of the other features and because I take a lot of iPhone photos. Certainly, the cameras are better and it will show in some photos. Not all, but some.

I'm a iPhone Mini user mostly because of the easy portability more so than the cost but if I were to consider a larger phone I would pay the 200 extra for the iPhone Pro rather than the standard iPhone, it seems to me the additional features of the Pro are more than worth the higher cost and I'm by no means a techie.

Upgraded from my iPhone 8 to the 13 Pro. I decided to go for Sierra Blue for one simple reason, so people can know. I gotta say this is a worth it upgrade.

I went for the pro max for one reason… battery life, all the other features like pro motion and a amazing camera are bonuses to me. If it were 2018, I’d go for a Xr for that reason of battery life

I decided to stick with my 12 pro max because it still performs well with excellent battery life and great cameras this was very tempting but I’ll wait to see what the 14 offers and I’m gonna go with the smaller model because I did give up my 12 for a pro max and I miss the size of the 6.1

Just got mine but I didn’t know about all the few it features

so i upgraded from a Galaxy Note 8 (which came out in 2017) to the 13 Pro, which is my first iPhone ever i chose the 13 Pro because i really wanted a telephoto lens and wanted an actual decent battery life (i had to charge the Note 8 twice to three times a day), plus the 120 Hz was pretty tempting and i wanted to switch to an iPhone since i have a MacBook and figured out “eh,why not? it could make my life easier” and honestly, it’s a pretty damn great phone i love the Sierra Blue color and the fact that the phone is a bit wider than most Android phones makes it feel a little more compact when it comes to the notch, i don’t mind it at all, especially since i’m coming from a phone which had pretty chunky bezels by today’s standards the lack of personalization was also not an issue since i like keeping things as they are by default heck, i almost never even change my phone’s wallpaper i do have a few gripes with it though. having your phone’s display turn on every time you receive a notification is really distracting and a waste of ressources in my opinion. i mean, i managed to turn that off, but now i can’t get my notifications directly on the lockscreen and have to swipe up every time to see them and the fact the keyboard has no haptic feedback at all is pathetic, especially considering how great the iPhone’s haptics are (and there’s no number row directly above the keyboard)
