'92 Jeep 4.0 straightpipe

11 жыл бұрын1992 Jeep Cherokee, 242ci AMC Inline-6 and AX-15 5-Speed transmission. Stock pipes, manifold, and cat. Chopped off the muffler and stuck on a 90 degree bend and tip. Eventually I had a muffler shop extent the pipe all the back back to the factory location. Definitely sounds far better when kept at lower RPMs.

I daily drive a 94 yj 4.0 true straight All the way back, no cat no muffler and rowing through the gears slowly honestly sounds like a cummins, from around 3,000 to 4,200 sounds amazing

Sounds great im about to do this same deal with my 99 xj. I see your leaf springs are a lil more springy i just replaced mine it was a fun 10 hrs of banging 303k miles of rusted bolts out lol

Sounds like a cummins lol. Is it straight pipe all the way? No cat? If so what size pipe you running?

Haha, it is an inline-6 just like the Cummins. Nearly the same displacement, too. Stock size pipes, 2.5 inch if I remember right. Cat, header, and everything between are all original.

So you are still running a cat? You just have pipe coming from it? I want mine to sound like this so bad lol.
