I could hear the crunch of those rocks under my feet, the swaying of every blade of grass with the breeze and the shadows of the clouds above my head. Heck, I could even smell the fresh air in that painting! 😌

The final warming of the foreground makes it a masterpiece with a wow effect!

This fine work of art is mind blowing...My God! This all-in-one, A to Z painting video contains at least 4 lessons combined into one. A lot of high value info was crammed in 15 minutes of high quality video. The blocking in phase itself was a revelation...the depth perception was created at that time itself. His deft usage of different hues and values that created the illusion of death is simply marvelous. The left half that contained the mountain and the undulating and descending valley with meadows was shown to be under the shadow of passing cloud. What a fantastic idea! The sun was not shown, but the viewer can "feel" the shadow! In the foreground on the right, the depiction of the rock slide of the cliff face and the scattered rocks settling at various levels of the cliff is unbelievable! The sheer depth of the cliff is shown from vantage point above it!! Only a top Master can visualize and paint such a complicated scenario. Michael, please bring this full video out as early as possible. For people like me who are far off to receive DVDs, a digital download may be arranged for purchase at your upcoming site. I've never enjoyed art tutorial videos more than these. James doesn't talk you to death for one thing and his demeanor is easy going, no pressure, trust and go with it. The subject matter is awesome. Watching one of his paintings come to completion with the right speed and appropriate breaks for tips is highly effective fro me. I'm really absorbing this which really increases my confidence. Thank you James, your a great artist/teacher.

Stunning scenery! I love how peaceful art is, how it can ease your mind through any time of stress. The strokes of the brush, the warm colors, the evolution of an idea in to a piece of art. Even if I am not the one doing it, to watch others do the very thing I love, I find it to be very therapeutic.

This is unbelievable! My goodness. It is so realistic-looking, I almost expected to see a few wild horses running about, if I stared long enough, or perhaps a daring hang glider soaring just below me. Simply beautiful. I want to move there and build my home. . .
