My favorite part of the entire interview is watching Noah open up. Starts out all calm, uninterested, rockstar-esc and ends up happy, talkative, and on the edge of his seat. Love it. Well done.

I remember one time seeing an interviewer remark that they had been told Noah was a difficult interviewee, and I feel like this video really showcased the difference between a good and a bad interviewer. Someone who is shy/introverted can easily come across a bit aloof (like Noah can in interviews imo) when in reality they’re just uncomfortable. A good interviewer like Pablo knows how to make them comfortable and pull them out of their shell.

@@summern8157 I absolutely agree, my favourite interview I’ve seen with him was one he did with “state of the scene” it was so lovely seeing him joke around and open up, he’s not rude or difficult he’s just introverted and shy so of course it’s uncomfortable for him to have strangers pry on his life, I’m very much introverted and I have been told a few times that I come across as rude but it’s due to discomfort

Noah talking about The Grey made me love the song even more. They put so much care and time into each song on this album. I know they did a livestream on Veeps and talked about the album but I would love for them to go into more details about it one day because I know there’s probably a lot more to know. I love hearing artists talk so passionately about the music they make.

There are a lot of parallels between Noah’s/Bad Omens outlook on the creative process and Linkin Park. Both self produced, both think outside the box, and the selling out part was spot on , their always evolving and yet still very aware of what’s going on around them . Bad Omens will be a headliner one day, these guys are the real deal TDOPOM speaks for itself . Thank you for the interview!

Wow such a great interview. My mind was blown when they were talking about the notes in "The Grey". How a note is just the slightest bit off, and using a piece from a Sprite commercial. Wow! Noah is a genius in coming up with the randomest sounds and tools to use in a record. I can't wait to hear them sing "The Grey" live. I want to see them in concert so bad.

Thank you for the interview! So many interesting details. I liked this record so much, have been listening over and over again. And, yeah, Concrete Jungle and The death of peace of mind are fantastic. Love it so much. I think Noah is incredibly talented. I wish him and his band all the best. Bad Omens makes amazing music. And Noah, as far as I know from the interviews or his live streams, is a very nice, kind, clever person who is sincere in his music. His voice is something extraordinary, really. So cool.

0:23 last time the guys met (a show in Minneapolis); 0:45 congrats on the record; 1:23 how long did it take you to put all of the 15 songs together? 2:53 the evolution in sound: was it a conscious effort? 5:17 when did the decision to produce all the work yourselves come to be? 9:01 how do you know when a song is done? 11:30 are you ani-radio? 14:20 how does it feel to go up the chart? 18:01 what is your favourite songs on TDOPOM? 18:37 where the idea for this kind of singing in The Death of Peace of Mind (the songs) came from? 19:38 every songs is like watching a film; 20:43 about treatments for the videos on TDOPOF; 22:44 about Artificial suicide; 23:28 'we're shooting a new video tomorrow'; 23:50 about the Grey (an easter egg in the song); 25:22 what is that sound in the Grey where it sounds like water dropping? 26:04 how did the cover for TDOPOM come to be? 30:13 how do you deal with playing on festival during the day in the sun? you're welcome

I have a few favourites on the record & listening to the process of Death Of Peace of Mind & Concrete Jungle, it's insanely clear the motive & ideology about the songs. They're both 2 of my favourite sounding songs along with IDWT$, The Grey & Nowhere To Go. I blast these songs in my car daily. I feel like experimental music is very undervalued but experimentation to any piece of art is actually the most valuable thing. The idea from Noah is also great, what music do you listen to in different situations of life, even in a small daily car journey? I am very excited for Bad Omens & their experimentation on future releases. I heard their previous work before this release, but this album is definitely the right direction for them to take, very well done boys! Went from a casual listener to a big fan & follower.

I was wondering what the 'splash' sound The Grey was the day before watching this, thinking it's such an unusual sound to get in a metal song. I thought it sounded like the kind of exaggerated pouring liquid sound you'd get in an advert, and here is Noah explaining that it's sampled from a Sprite advert! One of my favourite albums of 2022.
