if only all our politicians were like Geordin this would be a completely different country. Straight answers and absolute accountability for delivery. Western Cape really is the jewel of South Africa because of having the right leadership. Challenging times are coming for WC as more people from within South Africa move there. While Johannesburg crumbles, Cape Town will be growing. Ask any ANC cadre what the importance of Moody's rating is and see what the response is.

City Council... take over the port without asking permission... just throw out TRANSNET OR Build a city port and compete against the TRANSNET control.

Yes mayor...That is why your party, the DA promised alternative power generation...Remember, you are working on a plan to deal with loadshedding? Or was that just talk as usual?...and it will be cheaper than Eskom, correct?...By the way, how come your neighborhood of Higgovale does not get loadshedding, Mayor?

10111 whether up or down in real terms makes no difference. When you call it - it either rings till cut off, you are diverted to ‘the relevant agency’ and cut off and if you eventually get to speak to someone it may be 20mins to an hour later. Great emergency service!!’ A waste of time & taxpayers money!!!
