Changing the a.c. evap coil on mama's Hoopty Wagon. Procedures are about the same on the entire production run of the round body S10's.

I felt like I was out in the driveway or the garage with my uncle or grandpa. The vernacular and the explanation of how everything goes. Took me back my childhood and I’m betting there’s a lot of guys my age that understand where I’m coming from too

I have a 96 Blazer that I am doing the same replace as you, even keeping the hose and piping. Right now I am trying to force the reassembled evaporator into place? A real question until now watching your excellent video. Saying "if I only had another 1/4 inch between the engine and those studs" and " the blower was a 1/2 inch narrower" with cussing and 100 degree heat realize that it will not go in like this. You said it very well, why wouldn't you twist a few more bolts and take 30 minutes to save yourself hours of anguish and a broken evaporator? Thank you for the details on the bolt fender and bumper locations. Grey hair just means that you have learned better ways to do things!

Thanks. It ain't that I'm smart, it's more that I have found most of the ways to do things wrong.
