I was wondering if y’all were still doing homeschooling co ops and such. That’s a huge help when you homeschool. I always think we are a day ahead than what we are. 😂 I made pigs in the blanket they’ve been our breakfasts with fruit and hard boiled eggs.

I make the filling and put a pie crust on top. That's our version of pot pie/ Shepard pie. I honestly think it's becuz I followed a crockpot recipe for shepherd pie and it cooked the hamburger in the crockpot. Becuz I also did that with a Philly cheese steak sloppy Joe in the crockpot and both of them the hamburger was cooked in the crockpot. Both times hubby called them sloppy sock 🤢 which was hysterical 😂 but we all was with him and went out to eat. Conclusions is crockpot hamburger is a no ty in our house lol I need to precooked the hamburger or just leave the crockpot out and try both again on stove top/oven lol

@@MrsAlmaTrumbleThat's a bonus of homeschooling you can make up your 180 days any way you want here in Pa. So my kids don't miss school on "snow days" Columbus Day etc we still do school on those days. So they usually have a long winter break. I have it for next Wednesday to start but they did extra yesterday and doing extra today usually no assigned book work on Fridays just spelling test and reviews but they want to do Mondays work on Friday. I was homeschooled middle school- highschool. 😊 I was in a Christian academy but it got too expensive for my mom.

I'm not sure if you can make yogurt from lactose free milk, the bacteria digest lactose and galactose as part of the process. It might be an interesting experiment to compare regular and lactose free milk for yogurt making though.

So I was wondering the same thing- but the milk I used to use to make yogurt awhile ago was also lactose free and that was before I even used lactose free milk, so thankfully I know it works 😂 I’m just not sure on the brand - fairlife was always suggested and that’s what I used. So I looked online at the ingredients vs the great value and they’re the same so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. I’m hopeful anyway 🤣

Believe me; I’ve tried 😂 but now they all swear this tastes better and won’t drink regular milk anymore. Last time I bought two gallons of regular milk they all refused to drink it so it went to the animals. 🤪

someone else on here commented awhile ago that the lactose free tastes so much better. I don’t drink milk so I can’t comment - but I thought my kids were nuts until I saw that comment too 😂 maybe it’s true? I don’t know, I can’t handle drinking milk 😬

Hi Tiffany, I love shepherds pie and you can never have to many mashed potatoes. Lol. It look so good. You sell yourself short lady ........ you home school three children, cook three meals a day not counting all other things. You are far from lazy. Have a great rest of your week.

Carol you are right. Tiffany you´re doing wonderful. It´s not easy running a household. If I had a magic wand, I´d scoop you off for a Spa Day and then some. It´s also wonderful to see all these ladies (strangers) who appreciate what you share with us. Also wonderful all the great ideas others share here as well. More power to us ladies.
