無理なこじつけで妄想する私でも　これは・・・・お手上げです（笑）お父さんが思案に暮れるのが　よく解ります。仰るように子供が遊動円木（ご存じないかなぁ）のように跨るのに丁度いい太さですね。皮剥いて・・・何か浮かんでるのでしょうか・・・楽しみです。硬い樫の磨き上げた肌は素敵でしょね！

ねこねこさん今日もコメントありがとうございます☆ 遊動円木！！あの遊具にはそんな正式名称があったのですね！(笑) 最近はとんと見かけなくなりましたが、懐かしい遊具ですね♪ 思い出が蘇りました☆(#^^#) 何か具体的に浮かんでいるわけでもないのですが、とりあえず磨いてみようと思います！

I have milled lots of White Oak but have not had any with that much salting. good looking Oak.

Its unlike any white oak in the states has lots of spalt that developes before the tree rots gives it great character i would cut a slab with the opening and incorporate slats into it that are spaced apart would make a awsome bench.
