I am fighting depression also. My best friend died after 16 years. My little dog. I know that depression is Satan stealing our Joy. We must stay in prayer and wait on our Lord. He is holding our hand through it. No he is carrying us in his arms. Only he can bring us out of the valley and unto the hills where the light is. I feel closer to him hearing the rain and thunder. I feel his presence. We must seek him and call his powerful name, Jesus .

When I was a kid we lived in a trailer it was a double wide and most of it had a regular house roof over it, except for my room which was way in the back of the trailer, my room still had it's original time roof. I remember absolutely loving when it rained bcuz of the sound it made on my bedroom roof. I really miss that

This takes me back to camping with my dad before he passed and in my sleep i dream of our trips sometimes when i wake up i realize I’m an adult and he is gone but it doesn’t make me sad because it’s like I get to spend a weekend with him again even if in reality it’s only 5 to 7 hours of me sleeping. I swear before I’m fully awake and realize where I am I can smell the camp fire. Crazy how powerful the brain can be. Goodnight my fellow campers good luck on catching a monster bass tomorrow lol.
