Your tip about storing bolts and small parts in one of those organisers is just brilliant. I saw it one of your previous videos and have been doing it with my projects ever since. Here in the UK, they sell them in B&Q (pretty much our version of Bunnings) and they are just under £3.50 - which is really cheap. So thanks for the tip!

On that subject, glove manufacturers are now using nylon on the upper side of gloves. It is really bad, in contact with heat en oil it just falls apart.

Can't wait to see how you tackle the a/c insulation foam issue. Been waiting for all the stuff to be blown out of mine for the last 3 years or so :(. My biggest issue is pieces just get smaller and smaller, gets into your eyes, mouth, etc.

Thanks for taking the time! I'm looking into a motor / transmission swap from a Cayenne 955 into what is called a Gbody. It has a tiptronic auto but it's virtually the same process. This is a real eye opener. Well done👍🏼. I'm wondering if it would actually fit under the transmission tunnel without any metal work involved. One question though, is the "transfer case" part of the transmission geared or does it use some sort of silicone fluid coupler to transmit power? I'm asking due to my car being RWD and have no use for the front shafts.

Replace the AOS if you can get at it, the thing is cheap plastic and the oil just eats it from the inside out.

Having to fix it so soon Jeff, the DMF is definitely past its use by date, 150,000 klm is really not that much work, and those cars so expensive to buy new. Used, as Scotty Kilmer says, "endless money pits".

@@adross7940 I'm sure how if the under body of the car you can't Jack in properly!!! The rocker seals on this car are weak as !! BS you can't remove the engine and transmission without a hoist then how do you remove it complete if you have no room or way to fit the car so you can slide the driven train unit . Need something with wheels and low profile and take the weight.

@@_i-kr6eg Mate... are you ok? Feel free to check out my instagram @DIYPorscheguy and see for yourself that I both own a 911 and removed the transmission and engine as a unit. In fact, if you go back and watch Jeff's videos you will see that he also removes the engine and transmission as a unit ON JACK STANDS. The engine is lowered onto a trolley or a hydraulic jack and dragged out from the back. Knock yourself out champ. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h8WDbLyVqLWUj5s.html
