Description: Valheim Mistlands - Building a Harbor With a Sea Wall! In this one I built another build with the Mistlands pieces but this time I included a 3 sided sea wall, a dock, a workshop, a tower and a house. The vines on the top (the living roof) are the best part of the build. Would love to see more of the organic ish ceilings/something related. You nailed it and the editing as well. Keep it up 👐🏻🍀

@@9byte you say it too much and it makes it sound like you haven't thought it out very well. If I was speaking to you in person, I'd never suggest to you that you speak differently. But in a presentation, such as this, I'd recommend that you get out of the habit of doing that. When you do that, it's basically saying "and that's all I have to say about that" which isn't really necessary. It's unnecessary and yes, it will make the whole thing sound more professional. Even if you don't care about it being more professional, it's not much different than saying "um." Your viewer doesn't really need it. I hope you understand that my suggestion is intended only to help. In the end it's just my opinion (and no one asked for it) but it's good advice.

@@ChuckHaney I understand you are trying to help and I appreciate any criticism so that I can improve. This is good insight. I just recorded the audio for this weekends video and I realized how much I've been saying it lately lol but this time I re did the recordings when I said it and they are much smoother. You're right its unnecessary. Thank you.

...dear god... I just, could never do something this incredible. I can do individual buildings, sure - but the planning involved for THIS?? The detail used - it's just insane. I think for Build-Gods like yourself, the only option left to give you ANY challenge is to just recreate the entire game: 'Zelda: OCARINA OF TIME'. *Hint-Hint-Hint "Dooooo itttttt" lol :P

Will do, thanks. You got this, I believe! Making a good plan at the beginning of the build with a blueprint can help to save time in the long run. Maybe that could help a bit?

Fantastic build. Well done. Personally, i may have used the straight edge dock area AS the actual dock itself to park up next to and unload, if not build a slightly lowered jetty to run alongside it, and have that connect directly into the workshop area from the bottom, so you could realistically and functionally use it rather than running through the whole build just to get to the workshop.

Looooove the design. Insta-subscribed! But functionally: at the workshop, it's gonna get smokey because the smellters and the kiln are indoors I also really like the outdoor kitchen area, but I think you can't cook when it starts raining

incredible - how do you get inspiration for these builds? everytime i watch your builds i get inspired and want to build something like that but dont know where to start.

A good way to get inspiration is to use your environment instead of just destroying everything when making a build site. Work with the elevation changes, work around a big rock, use the trees and bushes that are there in outdoor features, etc. I also like to watch architecture videos for inspiration.

Yes. I need to build quickly for making KZfaq videos so I use Infinity Hammer, World edit and server devcommands to save time... Also the mod configurator mod to configure them better.

How do you activate fly mode with a single key?

enable devcommands then type debugmode and with debugmode you get a few things. z is fly, b is no cost for building or creative mode, k kills enemies, L removes item drops. OR you can also use the bind command within the console to bind any of the many commands in Valheim to any key. I personally have about 10-20 things bound. Its super helpful once you get a bit more experienced and you have a need for it.

The visuals are cool as always, but I wish your builds were a bit more… functional? I doubt this workshop is gonna work properly, as there’s no ventilation what so ever. Not mentioning the fact that refinery is going to constantly damage everything when in use.
