This short was both gorgeous and also horrifying at the same time. Something so uncanny about the movements and sometimes the faces. The idea of something alluring being your own death is also a terrifying concept.

It looks great when the siren first screams and everyone is pulled forward. It’s as if it’s a sudden involuntary movement and shows how strong her grasp is

It is pure art. It speaks to us without words, without brain and thoughts involved. It speaks to us on a different level. It has it's own language that we understand and we don't need to explain it by voicing it, not even in our head. We just see it and it connects with internal language. This thing should be in a gallery, cost millions. It's an absolute masterpiece.

What really struck me was how disorientating all the shots were. From the extreme wide angles and the choppy framerate to the intense movements all added up to a beautifully unerving sensation throughout the whole short. Very well done

really wish we could get "making of" doccies like the old days... Hours of information and insight into how they achieved the emotional outcome of the project. Jibaro is brutal to watch, you actually feel the physical pain inflicted on screen, it's incredible. This little clip does virtually no justice in explaining how they captured that.
