She’s from one of the outside cities that was purged, Her and her parents were attacked by walkers, her parents were killed and the guts from her parents spilled on her and rotted, she hid away from the walkers and stayed in hiding for two days before she decided to come out and walk the streets, because of the rotted guts the walkers didn’t attack her, and here she runs into Rick while they’re doing recon outside the city.

The Civic Republic Military, (known by the abbreviation "CRM"), originally the Pennsylvania National Guard, is an organization that serves as a military and a police force within the Civic Republic of Philadelphia. They are the closest to an actual functioning pre apocalypse government/society in the entire walking dead series; and are the unified remnants of the State and other groups that joined them after Operation Cobalts failure. Unfortunately, they are also extremely authoritarian in the like. Unlike all the other States, (as far as we know in the series at least) Pennsylvania was able to fight back and defend against the US military’s bombing campaign of the nation called Operation Cobalt. The plan was to try and quell the initial virus pre-collapse. By carpet bombing large swaths of infected or not in cities across the country. As we know it failed since the US and the world collapsed soon after. While this was happening the National Guard of Pennsylvania mutinied and fought back successfully defending against the US military’s bombing of their cities since they didn’t want any part in the slaughter of their own citizens. This mutiny gave enough time and relief that in the chaos of the initial collapse period, after the failure of Operation Cobalt. Pennsylvania had enough remaining viable infrastructure and resources needed to regain order and therefore re-organize itself into the Civic Republic without anyone apparently noticing, and went into hiding. I guess everyone outside the state assumed that the state government suffered the same fate as the rest. We don’t know if other states were as fortunate as Pennsylvania. But considering Pennsylvania had the second-largest of all of the state National Guards. It would make sense how they could survive. It is alleged that they now number in the 200,000+. We don’t know exactly since they are secretive about their exact location and numbers. (Which makes sense) As such, the CRM is an incredibly powerful force in the apocalypse, consisting of many organized units of soldiers equipped with weapons, training, and many other resources and equipment that almost no one other community or organization has access to, such as helicopters and other vehicles. Their “mission” is to help rebuild civilization back to what it was and stop anyone who threatens that goal. However, though their intentions are noble, since they are extremely authoritarian the CRM often resorts to extremely brutal methods to neutralize perceived threats, including mass genocide of thousands using poison gas, such as when they wiped out everyone in the Campus Colony and Omaha. Hence the overarching “antagonist” for the series thing. In the clip, they captured Rick and put him to work as an indentured soldier, since he’s more valuable that way. He’s obviously trying to escape, but it’s caught by a little girl and unlike the majority of the rest who would just shoot her as collateral damage to cover their tracks. Rick didn’t have the heart to do it hence he got caught.

Bs being followers. As get killed upon being found rather than taken into the society. Can't have leaders inspiring people to lead a revolt or something. Rick was designated an A by Jadis but for some reason she actually cared for him or something so she told them he was a B. They pick him up after the bridge explosion and bring him back to their place. Where he's there trapped for like 5 years. No one who enters the city can ever leave since it's well hidden. Their secrecy is what keeps rhe city from falling. Can't have invading survivors if they don't know you exist. So Rick's been trapped their for years trying to escape but they won't let him since like I said you can't have outside ppl knowing where u are. They brought him into the military and he played along until he found a chance to escape. 👍

@@BrayanFushiguro- From what I understand, this brat was born *before* the apocalypse happened so can't really blame them. However, even if she had been born after, I don't know if you can blame the parents or not. It would be their *responsibility* to teach her how to act and survive in such a world (in this kind of environment, a kid would have to grow up fast in order to survive) but the way she acted demonstrates that she wasn't taught any survival skills. Sadly though, as it common place in a lot of movies and tv shows, kids are almost always the root cause of problems for the main characters.

The writers didn't want Rick to be a Chad and make it out. 😂
