i press these buttons for emoji in my laptop command and > and ; (also win+ . for some keyboards) also if you double click where your text is (like when you want to copy sth ) you'll see a button that says "emoji"

Of you're using a chromebook, tap anywhere on the touchpad with two fingers (when you are typing out something) and then there should be a window that comes up. At the top of that window should be an option for "emoji". Hope this helps😭
