That's pretty cool. I'm actually down in Texas. I have the same HD ramp system on my 53' stepdeck. That 23,500# rating is actually per axle, per section. I've loaded a 40,000# excavator with mine without a problem. Of course you have to throw boards on top of the ramps to keep the tracks from damaging the aluminum. Set the bucket on the back of the trailer so you can tilt the machine back so the tracks hit the ramps flat and then track on up the ramps. Of course you want to spin around and use a bucket on the ground to level the machine out before you track onto the trailer

It’s not being useful it’s just not being stupid in every way. They ruined that truck. A chain drive sterling isn’t useful, but that don’t mean you gotta make it look stupid.
