Her armour description in the base game states two things- that she willingly followed Miquella because she considered him the most fearsome Empyrean, and that she expects him to return since Miquella promised he would. Secondly, her line that 'Miquella awaits thee, O promised consort' is another tell that she knew it all. The most cogent reading of the fact that she knew Miquella was terrifying like Ansbach did but still chose to follow him and enact a literal genocide on his behalf is that she was always an enabler who is complicit in Miquella's r*pe of Radahn.

​@@grimreefer213 the same can be said for consort radahn, his one two combo cleave attack is his only hard move bc its a frame trap move, everything else is reasonable to doge

@@huphykang5355 Nah, that’s not the only thing that’s hard about the fight, that’s just one part of it. But always in hindsight the fight seems easier than it is. The same is true for Melania, but she tends to attack in like one small combo at a time that’s fairly easy to deal with, but Radahn if you get out of position or miss one dodge you get stunlocked to death, and that can happen in any of his normal combos, not just the one broken super move.

@@grimreefer213 Id agree about about that for malenia in phase 1 but phase 2 she is way more aggressive and combos attacks, plus life steal and scarlet rot. Plus waterfowl is still the most punishing move if you are out of position. Idk I still had a harder time learning Malenia on my first playthrough than Consort, maybe bc I was newer to souls game back then.

Malenia is not a balanced fight at all. She breaks her animations and has that bullshit waterfowl. Radahn is ironically more fair and doable than her.

She's neither the hardest nor the best. Besides Waterfowl Dance, there's absolutely nothing hard in that fight. Just a one-trick pony that got overhyped because the dodges have to be precise. RL1 Margit or Mohg later on beat this fight in almost every way.

pvp is really only about learning the pvp meta and learning which magic attacks you can strafe. Took me a month to "git gud" and win half my invasions
