Was based at Townville for 10 + years and had a ball fishing up n down that coastline. launched from Deeral to Tully to Lucinda to Townsville to Guthalungra, that last ones and interesting exit in a 6 mtr boat. Pith Reef was an awesome place close to shelf

around 18°35'36.7"S 147°13'41.3"E 5-7 nm se of hopkinsons reef, 40-50m rubble btm lots nanny. sharks come in , go elsewhere. lot of adventures around here

Townsville has washdown facilities at one of the ramps. It’s actually out of the way of the ramp and heaps of room for people to get around.

Hey Dave, sorry to hear from you like that mate, I have seen a couple of your videos that were shown to me by George, he’s a bit of a fan of yours. I was hoping to get to meet up with you while we were up there actually but I couldnt find you on instagram or Facebook… I was also told that some of the islands don’t like visitors so I didn’t want to overstep a boundary.
