Honestly, as much as I admire your work in general, what I find most impressive are the things like the individual bricks in this build, or the details in the wood and plaster work in the Normandy house front sculpt -- done with a dental tool, no less. I may be a modeler, but some of us are artists.

I've recently finished a Jagdpanzer IV Tamiya with no. 322 thereon. Albeit will be placed in a street diorama. Will be applying the same techniques in scratch build' my own buildings as yourself. Thanks for the these vids very educational and thoroughly enjoyable.

Nice job, the two front road wheels were replaced with steel road wheels. To help keeping from collapsing while making a left or right turn. So much weight on the front. Nice kit, great job

Looks excellent. Only thing i would have changed is to make the diorama longer so the end of the barrel doesn't stick out past the barn.

Gotta love that barn Ian, looks excellent!! Obviously a lot of work to add all those bricks but it’s paid off hugely. Great vegetation too, again adding the leaves individually to the seafoam is worth the effort. Another terrific diorama....well done bud 👏👏🙂

@@CWModelling Thanks for the prompt reply. Perhaps in a future build video of a kit with rubber band type tracks, you could demonstrate the process.
@CWModelling
@CWModelling 3 жыл бұрын
I'll bear that in mind......in principle tho, all you do is drill holes in the hull between the return rollers at the height you want the sag to be, then superglue stiff wire (paper clips are ideal) in to the holes and loop the tracks over the return roller and under the wire......just make sure the wire sits between links and is trimmed back so its not visible👍

Great job bud. I always puck up a trick or two on each of your videos. Keep them coming. One thing id like to point out is that you are mixing SS and Wehrmacht uniforms with your figures... not sure if this was intentional or not

Fantastic job, JagdPanzer IV is one of my all time favourites, just a quick question though, you built the model and then the diorama afterwards, did this then limit you to having a fairly flat diorama as you could not add suspension travel into the model? Very impressive work though, loved the individual brickwork.
@CWModelling
@CWModelling 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks........the diorama idea usually comes first and in this case it was flat so no need to mess with the suspension.....but if a diorama calls for something like that then I'd adapt the kit 👍

@@CWModelling Thank you, I have now watched many more of your videos and I think your dioramas are unparalleled. I have just started watching a channel where they are Laser cutting buildings, windows, doors, even slats in blinds. Almost seems like cheating! I still prefer the effort, and to be honest engineering know how that you put into yours, to give that genuine look and feel. Thanks again, love the content.
@CWModelling

@@johnconran9327 Thanks for watching.....to be fair to Thomas at Laser Creation-World..... if thats who you mean....he does design all his buildings himself and as a CAD draughtsman myself, I know how much work is involved in drawing his designs and templates in 3D on the computer before they're cut by the laser machine....its a lot of hours......Thanks again 👍
@johnconran9327
@johnconran9327 3 жыл бұрын
@@CWModelling Yes that is exactly who i meant, and I have now watched a couple of his videos and again I am well impressed, I use CAD myself and agree that is a lot of planning and work, I don't think the first video i watched fully showed the depth and skill involved, which I have now seen subsequently. His dioramas are also excellent. Cheers.
