Love this video! Hanging in there. Long session to recoup. Anything on the plus side is a win. ME??? Don’t get to play enough (distance to poker rooms too great!). Scattered, short sessions lead to “forcing”issues - doesn’t work, it turns out. 🤦♂️. Which is why the Burton Vlogs become lessons in patience at the table… …good video, sir…

Congratulations on Vlogger of the year award ... Nice to see you get it , i have always felt your efforts on your content were the best. I like the award going around to different Vloggers , i felt rampage deserved it last year , was popping out content every day the last two months of 2022... I also felt Brad deserved his ..... I feel next up is the kid outta Reno ... Ben Deach is fantastic and deserves credit ... I would give Boski an award as well if he continues .... I dont think Deach gets the recognition he deserves .

Two things: The set of queens, that runout looks ugly on the surface, but I feel like it's actually cleaner than it looks. I was thinking AK from the opponent there. Also, Voldemort cracks me up every time. You are well deserving of the GPI vlogger of the year award. Keep it up.

The “battler” from the NW who likes to donk is super interesting. I know extremely small sample size but wonder if he uses donks as blocking bets on all streets. Naming his price, building pot when has draws. Then seeming to donk large when he has stronger hands. Wonder if his bet sizing is changing based on his holding. Thanks for great vlog as always.

These sessions are a real part of the whole poker experience, not every day your gonna win. I get it like you said 50ish up you definitely don't want to calculate your hourly. If you won thousands every vlog, not sure people would believe you. Great vlog as always and yea, spot dead can be the absolute worst, getting walk's with k's instant table change for me, if available.

I live in Portland and our Poker is fantastic. I also know that woman you were playing with. We play regularly. Her name is Melissa. I recognize that voice lol. Also we have plenty of rocks in our games that are terrible for the game. We do also have a plethora of recs happy to donk it off.

0:38 thanks for referencing Brad Owen comment. I know this sounds super weird but it was voice plus hands shown in video that lead me to saying it was Brad Owen. I know a bit weird, but I found watching people’s hands is better source of information than their faces. I have a habit of watching a players’ physical hands even during vlog. So my first thought was that looked like Owen’s hands and then heard his voice. Maria Konnokov’s book the Biggest Bluff mentioned she worked with someone on hand placement to avoid tells. It’s super interesting to see evolution of this. The high rollers players seem to be focused on this. Bonomo plays with hands in his lap. Dnegs has really changed his style over last few years from being flamboyant at table to being more mechanical with his hand movements.

5:19 I don't quite understand what your saying about Vegas poker games compared to the rest of the Country. Are you saying you not only have to give action but also have to be good for the game by being talkative?

Vegas is obvs VERY tourist driven. So unlike a game in your home casino, where you have to foster an image and "give action, in order to get action" over time, you don't have to do that in vegas. You can literally sit and do nothing(or watch an ipad) for hours and still get action from tourists as they come in and out of town. This would NEVER work in most places because you'd quickly get known as "Ipad Dan" or something and noone would want to play with you.

I just figured Vegas Poker was far tougher than the rest of the Country because it was mostly Pros and tough players that did well playing in their God for saken towns and want to see how they stack up against the best. And whatever tourists that saw poker on Tv and thought it looked easy. But that's good to know. I am too talkative at the table to become "Ipad Dan" but I need something to distract from the fact that I play a Very low vpip. I guess I have another reason to make my way out to Vegas.
