Found this channel yesterday, brought me back to when I were a installer 8-9 years ago. Kinda miss it, nowadays I do installations of accessories such as towbars and heaters at a dealership. Kinda boring compared to audioinstalls. Great videos! Looking real good and great work!

Love the wiring on back of amp rack looks just as perfect as wiring on front...I hate unbolting amp rack thats neat on front and looks like a commercial for Olive Garden spagettifest underneath...😱

It's nice to see companies both established like PAC and smaller ones coming up with modules to hack into the idiotically designed factory electrical systems so you can install aftermarket stereos and auto starts. It's really been a cat and mouse game lately but the aftermarket will always win..

What's the point of installing a DSP and then using a 4.800 with built in DSP? Seems like a big cost for no benefit since you're already processing the signal

There are 12 RCAs coming from the zen. You hooked up 6 to the dm608. Where did the other 6 hook up to.

I had a question for you guys I own. 2018 ford f-150 I want to install. 2 amp and Change speaker's all doors.put a Speak a Box on the back seat. Under. And use the factory stereo. No amp on What do I need to use to connect to the original stereo factory?

Awesome install. I have an 18 F-150 that had the B&O system. The NavTV has been given my installer fits. The chimes are always messing up and I’m getting pops and random speakers go out. It’s on its third firmware update. Have you guys had any of those issues?

At firsts yes then we got a replacement unit, no more issues.

Wow . I thought I had a lot of sh¡+ under and behind my ford seats but pretty sure you got me beat by a long shot. I've got 2 scars 2500.1 and 150.4 a 100f ? cap it's the size if your big addison. We did 4 8" scar vvxv3s. I had to substantially lift the rear seat and move the adjustable handle .

Why not use a 6 channel amp and go full active (front 4 channel and two rear channels)? Then you don't need the passive crossovers.

What did you do with the center channel speaker? Did you leave it wired for notifications/alerts? I'm going to have a similar install done. Why didn't you leave the front pillar tweeters as there own channel. I was hoping to use JL Audio VXi amps which have the DSP built in - one amp for subs the other for 8-channel everything else.

(you didnt run in this particular vid) but if you were putting and aftermarket headunit in one of these trucks what length rca's would you recommend getting if you ran it from the headunit down the driver side door channels to where you had the amp rack in this truck. ( i have a 2016 f150 supercrew)

Wat do u recommend for loud total system for my 05 f150 supercab, cuz I got a Rockford mini amp 5ch. But don't like it I have CS kicker 6.5" coaxl. In rear & Rockville 12" powered sub & 6x8 Cs kicker components in da front, but I want a banging & loud system dats cost-effective.. Curious, why wouldn't you just use a DSP series amp from Audiocontrol and eliminate the DSP and A2B? It would feed he skar amp nicely.

We would need the Zen to get a clean signal regardless of Amp choice. At the time this is what made the most sense for amps and DSP.

@@jayshafer16 well to answer my own question, I now have the DSP and it's connected via speaker level inputs and the signal is very clean. My factory system doesn't use any fancy amplifier so I get full range signal from my front door speaker wires. I spliced and sent those wires to the speaker level input of the DSP.

@@BaysideSoundz Hopefully u get the notification for this question. If Im wanting to run another dsp after the zen a2b like the new marts digital 8 dsp and all the inputs are rca. Would i run the rca's straight from the zen to the marts dsp since it has 4 inputs. Front Rear and sub inputs from zen and then run the rca from the dsp to the amps.

It's seems the only thing B & O was the amp. Those speakers looks like some generic cheap paper cone speakers. I was expecting at least decent looking speakers for the price of an upgraded stock sound system. How sad.

That vent is so you don’t over pressurize your eardrum when slamming doors simultaneously. Manufacturers don’t want to be sued by someone with sensitive middle ear canals. Remember they make these rides for the masses and can’t know the medical condition of all their customers. You can potentially blow out a window too w/o the vent too.

@@johnhornbeak5735 is obvious that the customer doesnt have weak ear canals if he is getting loud full audio setup. Leaving the vents open will cause road noice to interfere with sound waves. Why do you think people use sound deadning in their cars? It's too block all the outside noice

Trill Will if that is what you think then No one can help you. That vent is maybe 6x6 that won’t even suck my farts out of the cab much less “interfere “ with several hundred or even thousands of watts of audio gear. It will however stop the over pressure of the cabin
