I do not know that it did. I was not at FInals nor did I see any corps in August. BD had another great year. They just did not win. Oh well, I am happy for Bluecoats, It is great to have a brand new winner. BD always has next year.

The best housing were the gymnasiums that had a rubberized floor... it was like sleeping on a room-sized practice pad....

I asked him because I was curious myself. He said The Cadets was way harder and more intense. Reps on reps on reps. The he said here at BD they really focus on philosophy and approach.

BD works smart. Cadets and SCV beat their kids to death. Over reps can hurt your form.

As someone familiar with both organizations I want to say that The Cadets are not a mindless bunch of dweebs and are diehards to their philosophy and approach - it's more subtle than that. The cadets philosophy is that they will not be outworked - they want to look back at the end of the season and think "There's nothing more we could have done." Does that mean reps? Yes. Long hours? yes. But they still get enough sleep, food and H20, especially since 2008 the corps has refocused their attention to getting the kids enough to be healthy. BD does things differently and strive for performance quality. Which means a little more rest, little more water, avoiding the field on hot days. Nothin wrong with that if you bring clean beats to the show.

Scv all the way. But I just love Drumline so I don’t care at this point
