Loved this tour! I watch all your videos on my Mac desktop because I want to see the monks in as big, beautiful detail as possible and this 360 version was fun, no problems at all. I always enjoy the different perspectives you bring such as showing maps of the entire park area, your travels to get to Monkey Hill, etc and this journey up the length of the road is yet another one, thank you! I remember or know all of the beloved monkeys you mentioned along the way. Like music and scents, I've long known of the powerful ability for places to trigger memories but I never really thought about Monkey Hill Road in that way until now. I've been around here long enough to have watched all of the tragic losses you mention unfold in real time. The way I see it, these heartbreaks are the price we pay for the immense joy we get from following the lives and stories of all of the individuals, families and troops. I can't thank you enough!

They make too much money from the videos. They will not change until people stop watching. We keep telling them but they still watch. That rescue place is a joke. Back when Janet was a baby and captured her and bound her little wrists so tight the blood supply was cut off and her fingers fell off and I called the New York number ilof the rescue agency twice and gotvs recording and left messages and never got a call back. Then I started really paying attention to how they were treating Janet and they put betsdine on her wounds that causes less blood supply to the wounded area. Then when they released her Jane already had another baby and was having to feed two because Janet could not feed herself. Then they started abusing Jane for feeding Janet and finally kept hitting her until she died. She was all hump backed from all the abuse when they finally killed her. That was when I quit watching. Then AM did some expose videos about them. They are despicable people. At one time I thought I wanted to gonsee thebtemples there but changed my mind. I will spend my money going whereonkeys are not abused constantly. They like to slice between their legs and body with machetes. They did that to the one they called Mrs. (I do not remember her name) but she babysat children for vendors. This monkey rocked the hammocks the babies were in and comforted them when they cried. And the despicable Cambodian camera people killed her. Just think what psychological harm they did to Janet and Jane. They kept Janet in a wire cage so she was hurting her hands and wrists more by fighting to get out and screaming for Jane and Jane was screaming for her. Jane was in sight of the cage and pregnant. No, no. AM showed us how much money they made on YT because they have so many channels. Not getting a cent from me watching pure monkey abuse.

It is never a busy road to begin with ( at most 10 -20 cars per hour ) and on Sundays and other public holidays, vehicles are only allowed in after 5 pm.

It is indeed a heart-breaking situation, and the treatment of 'pet monkeys' can be very distressing. The welfare of these animals is crucial, and it's almost impossible to keep them appropriately as pets. Monkeys are notorious for causing trouble and are difficult to control. They require a large area to move freely, and are prone to carrying diseases that can affect humans. Also, it's a dirty, ugly business overall, which creates a lot of sufferings for animal and humans alike 😔 Additionally, most of the 'pet monkeys' will be dropped (abandoned) by their owners, once they are hitting their "teens" and reach sexual maturity, bc they get almost always more or less impossible to handle for the average owner/family! It's essential to raise awareness on the issue of 'pet monkeys'. Monkey sanctuaries play a crucial role in providing a safe haven for abandoned or mistreated pet monkeys, and the long waiting lists reflect the need for such facilities in the States. Let's hope for continued progress in animal welfare legislation and education to protect these fascinating creatures. 🐒🌿Personally, I really hope (and foresee) that 'pet monkeys' will soon be banned in all states in the US, like they are in most countries of the world, actually.

If you have a laptop (computer) to view youtube, it will behave pretty normal! Although you can move around and zoom in/out if you wish!
