I am sharing my real life experience with Cordelia when i had sailed from Mumbai from 27th September to lakshadweep , goa and back to Mumbai on October 2, 2021. Post COVID i selected cordelia as it had a bought a good ship Empress of seas from Royal caribbean but the whole cruising experience was not at all great and was a total waste of our money and time. Cordelia has a A Grade ship The Empress but a C Grade staff and management which made our trip a horrendous experience. Positives: The ship is great rooms were good especially the balcony rooms were good. Well maintained and had clean rooms and public areas. Negatives: 1. Embarkation procedure at Mumbai was bad. We had to carry our own luggages from the checkin counters to the Ship. Many senior citizens were forced to carry their luggages right upto the room. In my previous overseas cruise trips earlier the porters used to directly drop luggage outside the room. 2. Food was not upto the mark and was bland in taste. 3. Lack of food for small children and it was very difficult for us to feed our 4 year old child . Most of the cruise overseas have a seperate menu for kids 4. Kids pool area was not working and even the jacuzzi was not working. 5. Inspite of paying a hefty sum for the whole trip Wifi was not available for connectivity and was chargeable i.e 20 USD for 24 hours and with a very slow speed. 6. Gross overcharging in cafe for soft drinks. A 40 Rs Coke can was being sold for 2 Dollars (75x2=150) they fixed the INR conversion rate to 75 though the current rate at writing this review is 74.14 plus a sum of gratuity and service charge. So a coke can goes for a sum of 2.60 dollars on board which is a blatant loot. 7. Icing on the cake was Cancellation of the Lakshwadeep Kadmat port visit on the name of bad weather due to which safe tender boat operations were not possible. later on we came to know that the whole lakshwadeep operation was cancelled as they wanted to bring the ship to Goa a day earlier so that they could prepare the Ship for the oncoming NAMASCRAY program to be held on the ship from October 2nd 2021. 8. For the preparations for the NAMASCRAY they bought in workers at Goa port and they were working without masks and were not even vaccinated. 9. The SPA is also grossly overcharged. On the menu they write a particular price and post completion they informed us about the gratuity and service charges. We selected a spa for 129 USD each for two of us and a total bill was for 350 USD . 10. Disembarkation: Again a horror where around 1000 people were made to sit in the theatre area for around 2 to 3 hours and all people including senior citizens had to carry their luggages from level 5 to level 2 and then outside the ship till the port terminal. 11. A cruise with no life and activities and limited shows for entertainment. The so called cruise director had no idea of planning activities for the enjoyment of the visitors. Probably the most dull cruise ship i have ever been till now. I would suggest all travelling with CORDELIA is a total waste of money. It would be more cheaper to travel to Singapore and board a cruise from there rather than going through a Torture. At the time of writing of this review i just came to know that the NCB has raided the ship to bust a major drug cartel (Source News 18)

Before Covid 19 we went for a cruise from Singapore to Indonesia. Honestly speaking it was same when came to food . Plenty of food but too Crowded with no place to sit and not enjoyable. I found it boring from 3rd day . Same ocean view , same food 😁.

We travelled from Kochi to Mumbai in Cordelia this week . Looks like they have seen your video and they have fixed the majority of the problems. It was really an enjoyable trip. We faced no issues as you mentioned.. But the disembarkation was still a pain 😀 Kidilan trip aayirunnnu
