Sprayer Depot has that pump listed at 150 psi. It apparently isn't.

Love the video, I’ve done crazy research over the last 4 days. Your set up is ideal. I called a few manufacturers. Hypro tech was very informative. If you reduce the RPM’s from 3600 to 600. You can get a true 11gpm at 200 psi. That’s using a Hypro 7700C-r. Develan 4900 without the gear reduction runs 6gpm at 100 psi continues. Thank you for the starting point. Saved us all at least $1000.

And being that I work summers on a wild land fire engine and am familiar with the pumps I was like why couldn’t I build a gas powered soft wash system? Enter DR Softwash thanks man!

This is very interesting, want to hear updates and a video using it. Like the cheap easy rebuild cost and made for corrosive chemical bonus! Pressure isn't a big deal, like a 12 volt with steroidal volume, lol

Great video. I bought the parts list. How did you connect the coupler to the Predator Engine? The shaft on the Predator is 3/4 and the coupler is 5/8?

Is t pulling from the bottom of the tank or the top?

Did you have to reverse the pump for the gas motor? I understand the comes ready for a PTO shaft which turns opposite of a gas motor.

Are you still using the roller pump? If so, what issues have you experienced?

This is fascinating. Quick question for you. I know some of these roller pumps are rated at 9ish gpm. Do you think it's be possible to limit the flow at the tip to 2-3 gpm? Or would that choke the engine? Also are you bypassing flow through an unloader or how does the pump stay cool?

What RPM is your motor running at? Looks like this pump is rated for 2600 RPM and I have a predator 212cc engine and just above idle I am getting 2600 RPM. Was also looking at the 6 roller pumps and they max out at 1000rpm. Just wanted to check and see if your having issues with the rpms the motor is putting out?

What size proportioner are you using.

Curious how you are compensating for the rpm at the engine vs the rated rpm for the pump? 3600 rpm at the engine… max rpm at pump 2200? Just throttling the engine down? Thx

Just wondering if your experience with this pump is still positive. I really like what you’ve done and I agree with you that it’s potentially a great replacement for 12v with none of the downsides of an AR pump. Anxious to hear more.

Literally the only thing pump setup for soft washing does better than my 12-volt flojet is gallons per minute I'm sitting at 6 at the pump of course we all know that's not what you get up the gun when it comes out realistically that's probably back down to 5 or 4 gallons a minute but I can easily get 45ft to 50ft and I've never had a problem with the 70 PSI that it puts out or whatever it is putting out by the end of the tip of the gun cuz you don't need pressure chemicals what cleans it all and that pump by itself is like $250

Does the 212 predator come with different diameter shafts? I noticed the coupler is 5/8” but the predator I have , has a shaft that is 3/4”.
