Yeah, the Eagles didn't really need to be emotional in the game. If anything, it likely worked against them. They came out fired up, and might've shot their wad in the first quarter. I don't think emotions are what won those really close games against the Bills, Chiefs, or Cowboys. (Granted, if they had better coaching they probably wouldn't have needed to come back to win against those teams.)

@@graff4954 I don't quite understand the hate towards the niners in the playoffs. We made it to the super bowl against mahomes a few years back but we fell short, just as philly's defense shit the bed last year. The nfc championship last year ended prematurely with purdy torn ucl, and I think that makes sense. Also, we've made it to the superbowl and nfc championship earlier in the 2010s as well. The eagles have their amazing 2017 run, but also aren't looking as invincible as they were last year. Amazing game nonetheless.

Lane Johnson was holding tf out of Nick Bosa the whole time and refs never called it, so in other words refs were bad for both sides. However 49ers would’ve crushed the Eagles anyways.

You have no idea how right you are because I can't remember his name but there was a player on the eagles was doing an interview and he was asked what do you think that happened that made the eagles start off strong in the season but fell apart at the end and his response was the 49ers game that they felt at the 49ers mentally broke them and they weren't the same team right after that... I'm a 49er fan and I wanted us to be the eagles so bad because of what happened and priors innocent championship game last year but I didn't expect to be a blowout especially in 49ers don't even score remove the ball in the first quarter can you imagine if they were to do that from start to finish it would have been worse also it just shows you how good Kyle shanahan really is that they can make adjustments

GG's Eagles. This was 10 months coming, and there's a lot of "what if's" going around. This game, like every other, is an isolated event and not influenced by the past outside of the emotional. And the Niners were plenty pumped and eager to win this matchup. And we did. You guys are 10-2, and tonight wasn't your night. This could wind up being a huge win for the 49ers if they run the table the rest of the season and the Eagles drop another game or two. I personally think the 49ers could absolutely finish 14-3, while the eagles finish 13-4.

Not me, look Philly is a bitch of a place to play, Purdy had to have last time on his mind no matter what he said publically. So it took a quarter to settle in for him to trust his protection, the defense had it under control.

As a cowboys fan the quarters 2-4 were glorious. Every Deebo run was like opening the mail back in the day to get a fat end of year bonus. Greg Olsen called a great game and my only complaint was that they didn't show Siriani's face more so we could see him getting mad and sad on the sidelines

I hope this wake up Eagles to play harder, and realize they gotta play the whole game, not just one half, and think you can always come back from it. Eagles are much better than this, and defense played only one quarter, then gave up. Coaching changes need to happen too. This loss likely lit a fire under Eagles asses. Cowboys gonna have a mad ass Eagles team.
