Not at all, you brits should be thankful. no one here in the States fuck with grime or anyone from the UK besides Adele, Ed Sheeran & Tinie Tempah a little. Estelle had her run in the States a few years ago (thanks to Kanye) but most have forgot about her. Most of us dont like Rita ora. We damn sure dont like Natalia kills. West Coast or East Coast grime has no presents here. when you mention grime here in the States people have no idea what you're talking about and the few Americans like myself who know about grime its not a big deal to us. If anything, Rocky can help take grime music international specifically America. He's the perfect American Artist to do it. It would have to be Rocky, Wiz or Big Sean no one else is going to spread your culture here in the States not on a large scale. You need a influential artist like Rocky.

The accent alone is tough to focus on. Americans are very fickle with things that isnt of their decent thus anything foreign is questionable. Within hiphop its more questionable because hiphop unfortunately forces the artists to have a mind of a high school child who is immature. Grime alone will be a tough sell. english accent+fast pace rapping+ fast beats. Thats 3 things to get usedto. Should be noted that grime is big outside of the uk just not in the states. And it is because of those reasons IMO
